I haven't looked at them myself but ik you can add audio to bk2 files, aka all the startup videos, idk if the main menu is a bk2 tho. just need smtn called RAD video tools i think
The actual menu UI is a .SWF file, something I have no experience with editing.
I've started using the mod Cleanfield - A No-Intro Videos and Clean Menu Fix to remove the message of the day. You can have it remove the Starfield logo also. it just replaces the ' Interface/mainmenu.swf" file to do this. Someone who knows more about SWF editing could likely replace the logo with whatever they wanted to.
The audio for some reason has stopped working for me as well on Mod Organizer. I'm only guessing, but one of the game updates might have broken things.
I will take a look at it this week and see if I can find a workaround.
Would you please be kind sharing a version that has subtitles for it ? Even if it's the default portal ones. I'm hard of hearing and while I love the game's humor, I'm struggling to understand what Wheatly and the space core are saying.
I wanted Vol 2 to be on Fallout 4 for the longest time. Core(s) floating like Eyebot(s), which happens in Lego Dimensions. Then Vol 3 in Starfield would have been a great series lol.
This is the BEST main menu replacer if you enjoy Portal's humor, my god. So much fun just sitting at the main menu watching them go nuts. xD
Gonna endorse asap!
Clean, dark background A+ Meshes well with the Starfield theme, A+ Frickin' Hilarious, A+ SPAAAAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, A+
10/10!
Edit: Just add a video of the menu so people can see what it's actually like, bet you'll get way more interest then. Cheers! Edit2: The video loop is impressively long, you can sit and watch this for AWHILE. Lil bud just keeps going nuts about space. <3
Thank you. Always great when others share my humor.
I put up a video like you suggested.
The video loop is not all that long, but the audio is close to 4 minutes in length. To my knowledge, it goes through all of the Space Core's voice audio from Portal 2.

edit: i dont think you can change the logo, dont listen to that idea

Also, can you add portal music to the menu?

Thanks in advance :)
You can check out all the dialogue from the space core here https://theportalwiki.com/wiki/Core_voice_lines#Space_core
It's all the same lines, so hopefully, that helps give you an idea of what it says.
