You should be with a exp shortage because of the mod. Uninstall it, give yourself the correct amount of exp through console commands and install it again.
Everything was working just fine, then I deleted it to test the normal exp gain, installed it again and now it is stuck. Even if I earn exp, I don't get any levels. Does anyone knows how to correct it?
EDIT:Uninstalling the mod will give you a exp short, so use console commands to give you exp to put it zero or positive. Install mod again.
Thanks for the file! With so many skills plus their requirements plus the long XP grind in higher levels, this felt like a much needed change.
I made an adjustment as, like some others, I felt it was a little too generous.
Only one setting required tweaking - the fXPBase - to offer a level ~every three faction quests or thereabouts. With travel time, ammo use etc factored in, this felt pretty fair.
If someone's looking to change their levelling rate, they could emulate this or make their own adjustments to fXPBase. Higher numbers equal more XP needed to level - for instance, you could have fXPBase 50 to have an experience between mine and the game default.
Although I know you said you don't know the equation for how fXPExpMult works exactly, how does it work? Does it simply do something like add a cost of 5 exp per level or is it more complex than that?
I find the the values you've set to be a bit too low for my liking and want to try to mess around with them to find a more happy medium for myself
I think improving XP gains through certain activities is a better adjustment for leveling up quickly, things like destroying enemy ships and killing enemies means you need missions that throws many enemies at you.
Or maybe doubling or tripling the XP gained from passing speech checks like persuasion?
Heck, food is always underwhelming in Bethesda games, it's always minuscule EXP multipliers. Would be nice to simply have a EXP rate of +20~30% for sleeping in a bed (or with a partner), and then 5~10% bonus rate for eating food. Maybe more longer duration too, so sleeping in a bed gives you 45 minutes worth of buff, and Alien Tea gives you around 15 minutes tops.
I'm lvl 101 (used a crafting farm to go from 60 to 100), this puts me at lvl 270 which is way too high, even if before applying it I give myself -300000 xp. Is there a way for it to scale of my total xp instead of current level? Maybe there's a way to apply a certain xp requirement to just 1 particular level?
I'm pretty certain it looks at your total xp and move your level upwards according to the adjusted curve, you remove the fXPStart and fXPBase lines if you want a similar to vanilla xp curve but without the exponential part

I got stuck on the same level without getting any xp. I had to go back to the save 5 hours to fix it.

My settings now:
setgs fXPStart 500;
setgs fXPBase 25;
setgs fXPExpMult 0;

With 25 I went from lvl 28 to 37, which I feel it's ok. For people thinking it's too much, probably a 30/35 would be better

Are there any game settings affecting how much exp we get overall or for each action seperately (exploring a location, enemy kill, crafting, etc) ?
