Yet another update, to 2.1! I bumbled my way through combining the MO2 and Vortex FOMOD installers. You'll now be asked to select which mod manager you're using, which means I only have to upload one file. You can still install the mod manually without any trouble, as well.
With 2.1 I've also removed some sound profiles I was less fond of (and which, generally, were not downloaded very frequently when the mod was originally uploaded), but the manual installation archive is still up if you really loved one of them and need to reinstall it! Check out the new sound demo to hear all the current sound options.
I tested this update pretty thoroughly and had absolutely no issues on my end, but let me know if you run into trouble and I'll try to help!
I doubt I'll update the mod again unless I've totally screwed the pooch on this update. I've pretty much plumbed the depths of good jetpack audio in video games. The ideas I still have include buying games I don't even want to play, or I've already tested them and it seems like Todd Howard made the audio files suddenly sound awful when transposed from their native game to Starfield. Blame him, not me!
Thanks to everybody who's provided feedback/suggestions! Before Starfield came out I decided I wanted to get into modding on some level, and now I have. Hooray!
Updated to 2.0 with three new sound profiles! Thanks to Gransorg for the biotic jump idea! Also separated Vortex and Mod Organizer 2 installations into two different files due to differences in how each manager places file by default. I don't know if there's a more elegant way to solve that problem in a single FOMOD, but this should work for now. Tested all options on both managers and everything works fine on my end, but let me know if you run into any trouble!
There's now a FOMOD option for use with Vortex/MO2. I've never set up a FOMOD before, but the Nexus guide for doing so is extremely helpful and it seems to be working just fine. I also packed the files into a single archive for manual installation, to declutter the files section. I'm leaving both files at 1.0 since I haven't made any changes to the mod itself, i.e., if you've already installed the mod there's nothing new to see!
Sound #6 is the same as Star Wars Bounty Hunter Jetpack Sounds, but yours doesn't have the glitch where sometimes a second, quieter sound of the jetpack activated after you stop using the jetpack. However, yours is extremely low on the volume, it should be increased more.
The mod page says 2.1.2 is the newest version. When I install it with MO, it installs as 2.1 and MO warns me that 2.1.1 is the most recent version. What is up with that?
Really love your modi use it with profil 5. There is something a little little little bit annoying FOR ME in this profil. When the jetpack recharged, there is the same sound when it's fully charge. The feature is cool but in game it's sound like a bug, like a delay sometimes when you just press one time the space bar to jump with the jetpack.
came here to ask for a proper really weak sounding pssst pssst rcs thrusters pssst pssst sans techno/atmospheric-combustion sounds mixed in, but 6 and 7 are good too. though still.
Nice mod! I seem to notice that after boosting, I hear a random boost from out of nowhere that uses the same sound as mine. It may be a bug but it kinda scares me sometimes since I thought there was an NPC following me with a boostpack. Haha.
Thanks! And I'm noticing the same thing. I think I've tracked it down to one of the .wems, and I have absolutely no idea why it's doing that, but removing it seems to fix the problem. I'll update that tonight, and also do some audio work on a couple of these profiles that I'm now realizing run a touch too long.
Thanks for reminding me, I noticed this earlier today and totally forget to look into it!
Anyway to make it so there is constant boost sound while you are hovering in the air when aiming using the Rank 3 "Boost Assault Training" skill. It feels weird hovering with no sound like time has stopped. I'm not using the Rank 4 so idk how that would effect it.

I'm looking for this mod for ages and nobody gives me even the name of it ... xD
Probably some paid patreon mod it seems.
Can I request an option to just randomly cycle thru all the noises?
Weird suggestion but id like some raw car exhausts inspired sounds.
Do you think u'll do something or not ?
All you get as is, is a big fart then the audio goes away and you're floating around like a witch until you hit the key again.
