I'm trying to track this down since I have a lot of mods and I could be wrong, but I believe this breaks the 3rd person flashlight when the helmet is visible.
For anyone who wants to keep the backpack, simply delete the two backpack files in the 'meshes\clothes\spacesuit_mantis' folder before copying it to the 'Document Starfield Data' folder. I use this mod alongside the Black Mantis Spacesuit mod, which turns the backpack black and complements this mod very well.
