I cant seem to be able to fix that issue, so i paid attention to the other 2 CCR mods that I use, and they DO have the same issue (for me).
Hence I've created a bug report on CCR mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/2740?tab=bugs
There is nothing I can do about (because i cant find alternatives that bypass the way i apply these settings).
I'll be providing regular scripts during the morning of 23. Sept 2023 (gmt +2), becasue that allowsme to increase carry weight as well, and a "reset" script.
I had just started another NG and experienced that very same issue myself. (aka, i'm already on the issue for the past 3 hours). Upon release, the CCR variant was just modified my already changed values from before CCR, this did not work on a NG.
Found a solution, but i also want to "re-introduce" another feature. Updated version 0.9 -> should <- be available in about 1-2 hours.
Should be fixed with the now available 0.9 upload.
Edit: At the very least, after each change (reinstalling 0.9 with a different... stage.. as i called it) , it had applied the changes immediatly. This was not so much the case with 0.8.
The fall speed makes the character takes fall damage, even when wearing 2 legendary gear that has acrobatic (which -50% fall damage, making your character immue to fall damage). Can you please consider switching it back to vanilla?
I did not tested it throughout, but I think the -500 fall damage does contribute to the problem. When setting both fall damage to 0, and fall speed to 100, I no longer take fall damages when wearing 2 acrobats armor. So I think you can consider setting fall damage to vanilla too.
But some value must be changed by the armor. Then again, I do remember to have tried both extremes with no change :(
However, the falldmg change does help to just get a... "squeeze" rather than a broken leg when falling/jumping from high up (eg: on top of ship, towards new atlantis - that first "lower" place. Neither does neglect actual dmg to HP though.
EDIT: Seems the jumpspeed does have an effect on wether (or how much) of a "damage - effect" (like broken leg) we get. So it was if i was still moving (forward) or just "falling down", wether i got a "squeeze" or a broken leg, not the falldamage. Going to be changed. (since its player.setav, it'll probably be "baked" in the save game, so i'll leave the file there with default values to it gets overwritten for everyone (or at least has a chance to).
As I still have not gotten such gear, i do have to ask you.
Could you please give 0.8 a testrun, and let me know how your legendary gear behaves with "Recomended" and "Ultra" options? Do you get any fall damage (again)?

Sure, no problem - will be changed for 0.7.
Any other adjustment suggestions, while I'm at it?

So with 0.6 I reduced the Fall Speed a bit. (more vanilla like)
