If using SFSE, where to install?
    Main Game/Plugins folder?

      It's written in the description

      REQUIREMENTS

Steam 1.7.23.0 - Compatible with any upscaler
      Starfield Script Extender (SFSE)
      SFSE ASI Loader
      Install into the Data folder

Microsoft Store - Only compatible with FSR
      Ultimate ASI Loader
Install into the root folder next to Starfield.exe

Couldn't expect nothing less from an anime avatar than impatience...sigh...

When using SFSE it can refer to Documents Data folder or Main game/Plugins folder.

Reasons for this is when using FSR Bridge DLSS mod together with SFSE, you need ASI loader in Documents/Data/SFSE/Plugins folder while
keeping both FSRBridge.asi and nvngx_dlss.dll files in Main game/Plugins folder.

So, my question is, which Data folder to install this sharpening .asi file when using FSR Bridge DLSS mod together with SFSE?

Put it in /Data, /Plugins or the root folder when using SFSE. Does not matter. If you are using a mod manager, you just need to install it. Does not require additional steps.

      According to SFSE

ASI plugins can be loaded from:

      • Starfield/
      • Starfield/Plugins
      • Starfield/Data
So safe to assume you can place it in any of those 3 locations. I would just throw it where you put your FSRBridge

*edit* I was a few seconds late to the party

Ok, here's my status (where's everything located):

      - SFSE - Root folder (this is a must, obviously)
      - SFSE Plugins folder - Root/Data/SFSE/Plugins
      - FSR Bridge mod - Just two files (FSRBridge.asi, nvngx_dlss.dll) + preset_override.txt  - Root/Plugins
      - SFSE ASI Loader - One file (SFSEASILoader.dll) Root/Data/SFSE/Plugins
      - Upscaling Fix (this mod) - One file (UpscalingFix.asi) - Root/Plugins.

So far my log.txt files locations are:
      - SFSEASILoader.txt at Documents\My Games\Starfield\SFSE\Logs (both Bridge and Upscaling fix succesfully loaded)
      - UpscalingFix.txt at Root/Plugins folder (Upscaling fix loaded, failed to register Reshade addon).

Are you sure? I'm fairly certain these were all made obsolete. Are you absolutely positive you truly see any different?

Either of these files still needed with the additions and updates of vanilla upscaling options?

You shouldn't use this at all anymore.
Since Game Version 1.7.33.0 there is Upscaling Fix 2 out.

Wait....are you saying this mod is completely redundant? Id that is the case, then the mod author should really state as much on the Description page or remove the mod entirely. It just causes confusion.

This mod does not support installation using Mod Organizer. Anyone know how to get this to work?

Is there an easy way to manually remove the textile fix? I want to eliminate it as a possible source of excessive edges on all thin lines within the game. Hair looks horrible and thinner strands/locks of hair disappear entirely at certain angles. It's driving me nuts.
