i was just about to ask this lol, not only i cant see my power but so does the enemy weapons and turrets doesnt have fire trails and makes me died a lot cuz i cant see where they firing from lmao
I have noticed that once I installed this mod, I could no longer get quest direction arrows when in scanner mode. I figured oh well, I could live with that. However, now I have discovered that I also do not get the galaxy animations in Temple Eta. This of course makes it impossible to actually complete the puzzle and therefore to progress the main quest line. Consequently, I must ask, what is the procedure for 'uninstalling' this mod?
Edit: Turns out I have a backup of an older StarfieldCustom.ini file in my recycle bin. I renamed the 'broken' ini file so as to not immediately delete it. I restored the old ini file. Then comparing it to the other, I restored a few entries to the older restored ini file needed by a few mods I had installed subsequent to that old file. That did the trick. Took me 30 seconds to complete the 'puzzle' in the temple.
Sadly it appears that my quest arrows are still gone.
Even with all of these settings my game keeps crashing, usually after a loading screen or after conversations, but sometimes at random as well, it just shuts down without any errors. I am on 7200 RPM HDD, unfortunately my SSD is just short of required size to install the game to. I am at a loss at this point and i think i will just refund the game, i tried every performance boost on this site and nothing worked
The game does crash, even for people with good machines, though less frequently. This mod and others like them are meant to remove the strain from your graphics card. However there is little they can do to remove the strain from your CPU. Starfield is demanding not just graphically, but also on CPUs. If your CPU is below spec, it will crash frequently. Only thing to do is learn to live with it, or upgrade.
You can check the screenshots, top left corner for fps. Def worth it for me, since it makes the game way more playable lol. You can also edit everything however you want.
Hold up, does that mean we can shove all the bat files into their own folder if we just do that? So many years and never knew i could shove em in a folder to de-clutter the main folder lol

It can make the game look too dark at times, but I prefer that over too bright.
bEnableTinyTexturesPool=1 sounds like it uses a predetermined tiny texture pool or it enables the use of tiny textures pool.
I'm not 100% sure but most of these look similar to Unreal Engine's parameters.
