Yeah, scientists imagine all kinds of things and call it science. Then they can get more taxpayer money to do more "science". Photosynthesis only happens one way as far as I ever read. And green leaves turn red because they are dying. Not sure if author of the article here knows that or not.
@Mercury7Elite it appears there might be some misinformation here. On our planet Earth, many plants indeed possess pigments other than chlorophyll, and this doesn't necessarily signify that they are unhealthy or dying.
@Mercury7Elite It's not the photosynthesis that makes plants/trees green. Chlorophyll makes it green because it absorbs red and blue light from the sun. Other plants have have anthocyanin which makes plants look red/blue/purple in color.
