1 - Extract the corresponding file you downloaded to your Starfield/Data main game folder.
2 - Inside your main game folder, locate Starfield.ini and open it.
3 - Locate the line ending with ''TexturesPatch.ba2''
add a comma and a space then insert the name of the respective version you downloaded right after it:
For Balanced Mode:
Balanced Mode - Textures Part 1.ba2, Balanced Mode - Textures Part 2.ba2
For Performance Mode:
Performance Mode - Textures.ba2
For Ultra Performance Mode:
Ultra Performance Mode - Textures.ba2
4 - Save the file.
1 - Exclude the file inside Starfield/Data folder.
2 - Remove the lines previously added to your Starfield.ini inside your game directory.
1 - I can't see textures or they look black in-game. Why is that?
You probably will need to recompile your shaders.

2 - Which version is the right choice for me?
It all comes down to your system specifications. I would suggest that if you have more powerful GPU, the 1K pack should suffice.
However, if your GPU is not too strong you may find the other versions to be more suitable.
