Another perfect mod. (Yes, I got the other two as well).
Ran into an immersion-breaking bug this last playthrough where I delayed going to the lodge for a bit. Was told "Your mom dropped off this note for you.", implying that she knew I was going to Constellation by some means. Doubt Lin or Heller would have called and told her.
This mod lets me delay the parents until AFTER I join the big C. :)
There shouldn't be need to remove a trait to replace with this. The character can have as many traits as one wants. Conflicting traits might cause issues ofc.
To remove the trait limit in character creation: SetGS iChargenTraitCountMax 11
i can confirm this works. i have three traits and added kid stuff and it works just fine. dosnt seem to work with others traits in any way i can prove. they can be "added" and show up on the list in the menu but never have actual effects.

Is it possible to remove a Trait, though? I would rather just give up Adoring Fan, to stay within the allowed 3.
for anyone who wants to reset this quest do "STARTQUEST 0010c2fa 300" and you'll be able to go back to the apartments and re-do it incase you told your parents you didnt want to pay anymore and the quest completed
awesome. it´s the only method i found working iun ng+ without starting a new game. is it possible to make it for other traits too? e.g. enlightment trait, the chest doesn´t spawn..
First of all thanks a freaking lot for providing this! I really regreted not picked up Kid Stuff in the first place.
While installing it, I forgot that I already had 3 perks (I was sure I only had two) - so I´am playing with 4 perks now for quite a while. Does this have any downsides? Would it cause any trouble? Or should I simply keet it that way?
Thanks a lot, I'd added the trait before but it didn't trigger without the extra command. Would you happen to know how to enable the Wanted trait as well?
I had the same issue. Consoled in the player.addperk for Wanted trait, and nothing happened. No new dialogue with bounty lady, just the trait on my bio page. After adding the trait, if you type "help wanted" in console command, there should be a line that says "qust TRAIT_WANTED" or something along those lines. The ID code ended in 113. I don't know if it is the beginning or end of the quest line, as there is one that ends in 112 as well.
Anyway, if you "setstage [id] 0" with the quest ending in 113, it adds the [Wanted] trait dialogue when talking to the bounty hunters, and they tell you you have a 3k bounty, want to pay it off?
So, now I have an active bounty and will be hunted down, whereas before I had the trait, but no actual bounty
Sorry I can't recall the exact ID code, but there were only like 2 or 3 listed as QUST
So, if I use your mod, this will enable Kid Stuff. Does it not work already with the console command that opens the character creation again to change traits manually ?
If this is permanent, then I can remove this trait and switch to another and still have the parents and the quest in the game ? That would be cool
I can't test the mod right now sorry for the questions.
Inside the zip file there is a text document with two lines. The first adds the perk and the second triggers the quest to start. If you use the console command for the character creation or only addperk, then the quest won't start since the setstage command doesn't run on those.
Running "removeperk <ID>" will remove the perk, though I don't know if the associated quests keep working after that. PantACRO4life also created a mod for the Adoring Fan, which consists only of a quest activation via setstage (no addperk), so it's worth a try.
only adding the tarit with the console command is not available, you need this mod,i think this mod maybe some other console command to make some trigger active.
