    I must be over the new soft limit (even though i'm down to 186 esms from 600 a while back.).

    This works with my 100 nexus mods disabled, but I get missing land pieces, if it loads, with those active . Which is exactly what happened before with exceeding the old soft limit.  (Pre shattered space)

    I love the idea, and will eventually take the time to try getting down to under limit with this active. 

    I can verify it did exactly what it says when I turned off a significant portion of my LO. Just adding this in case anyone else with a larger LO sees it.

    For now, the root cause of the crashing seems to be related to safe bloat and/or a high number of mods. 

    I have added a lite version, reducing the added ships from 380 to 132 in total. So far, this version works for people who previously crashed using the full version. Check the description for more details about the lite version.

      Just installed you mod and game crashes when loading my save.
      On PC. 
      219 mods, 221 active plugins.
      No issues without your mod.
      Using a lot of mods that add ship parts, like Matilija, AvonTech, Falkland... Also using SkyUI, PDY, some new ships like the USS Pathfinder, Tempest, Millenium Falcon and so on.

      Are you able to get it running with disabling like 30 or so mods?

      Still crashing at the same point during the load sequence (a couple of seconds after the photo mode pictures start to show) with v1.01.

      Platform: PC
      Game modded: Yes
      Mod count: 264 (225 plugins + .dlls and some loose files)
      Save size: 31.3 MB
      New game: loading OK (with all mods installed)! - two pop ups indicating ships loading and then total added ship count (while many other notifications show up from other mods initialising)

      Given that I'm not seeing an issue with a new game loading, I suspect my best course of action is to wait until I go through the Unity again and once emerging in Vectera's orbit to try enabling it then.

      Yeah, I get the feeling that the amount of ships added hits some sort of limit for people. Not sure if I can do anything about that besides reducing the ship count.

      I'm currently preparing a version that only adds 1 variant of each, instead of 3, massively reducing the added ships.

    Seems to me this mod strays into areas that it definitely should not. It could be that this mod is changing the vanilla records so much that the base game is finding it impossible to recognize them. Other mods add fleets of ships without causing the problems this mod has. Whilst we all appreciate the fantastic effort this must have taken I tend to think that the crashes people are experiencing are more than the size of the fleet introduced. For one they are definitely messing with the vendor system in some way. Why else would B.A.B.S. having a CTD when you try to sell a ship to her and, more importantly, why is she unable to replenish your supplies for watchtower.

      This mod does not touch the vendor system in any capacity, neither does it touch anything introduced with Watchtower. The only vanilla records this touches are the ship spawn leveled lists via, script injection.

    Sorry this is off-topic, but considering what you've accomplished here: Do you think it would be possible to replace all npc ships with player designs (leaving aside issues with quests)? I wish I could replace all the vanilla ships with my own designs.

      Yeah, this is possible by removing vanilla ships from the leveled lists entirely. This also shouldn't affect quests, as quests ships are either unique anyways or simply spawned from the leveled lists that will then have your ships to spawn from.

      That is intriguing, I guess the hard part there is how to import your designs... perhaps the Transfer Ships across Saves tool could be used?

      I downloaded the light version on xbox from bethnet and it successfully loaded and told me all ships have been implemented into the world but ive been looking everywhere and have not found any new ships.  Does the bethnet  version need the update as well or could this be a different issue?

      There's still a lot of vanilla ships in the same spawn pools. As you fly around you'll encounter new ones every so often. During my testing, I usually only encounter 1 or 2 new ones at max at any given location. Sometimes it took me a good 20 minutes for a new one to show up too.

      Gotcha I'll keep looking.  Do they land on planets or are they only encountered in space?

      As far as I'm aware, planetside spawns use the same spawn pool, meaning they should show up on planets too. But this is not something I specifically tested yet, I only did testing for space and combat.

    Why didn't you name the ships on the screenshots? I've been trying to find a special one. Name would really help. =(

    For some reason my game refuse to load the game up whenever I tried to add a mod that adds large number of new ships. The game crashes everytime I tried to load up the game. This happened with the 'More Ship Variety' mod, and the same thing happened with your mod as well.
    I'm playing the game on Xbox Series X, btw.

      A little over 250 mods. It can load up the game to the main menu, btw. From the main menu to the game, that's where it fails to load.

      I see! Theoretically well under the plugin limit, but as far as I'm aware there's still a mod index limit that gets reached way earlier.

      Since this mod has been working fine for me on PC and Xbox during testing, maybe you're hitting some of those limits. The easiest way to test this would be to like disable 50 random mods, but leaving this one on, and see if the game will load then. But I am not sure how easy that is to do on Xbox. Just an idea I just had tho since there shouldn't be a conflict causing a crash.

      Yeah, this is probably due to the index limit. I wish I could add this mod to my load order, but yeah, my game said no 😅

      I have the same issue, I tried on a vanilla save with no other mods and it still wouldn't load.

      I'm on PC, but its strange because other mods that have added ships like Crimson Fleet Rearmed worked, but this doesnt.

      Since you used a vanilla save, it does indicate something might be wrong with the mod.

      First thing I recommend is redownloading the mod to make sure it did not got corrupted during download. If this still does not work, please send me that save game and I can take a closer look!

      I'm getting CTD's on load too, and I'm on PC, running about 360 mods, but game was very stable before installing this.  I'm also running Starfield Fleet Expansion with no issues and about 20 creations including Watchtower and Darkstar mods.  I tried removing Fleet Expansion but still ctd and even tried my Unity save but same result.  This looks really cool and would love to try it but guess its not going to work for me. :(

      My game also crashes on loading, a second or so after the photo mode image appears during the loading sequence. I initially thought it was an issue on my end and was going to leave it at that, however it appears others are experiencing similar problems. PC user, a ton of other mods installed.

      Yeah it seems it works for some and doesn't for others. I will investigate this, and change up how the adding to leveled lists is handled. I suspect that may be causing issues for some.

      The mod has been updated with a new delay. Hopefully this fixes the crashing. Please let me know.

      This is probably caused by surpassed index limit, but I feel like this is something Bethesda needs to address. A lot of people seem to have problems with mods that adds new ships. I do hope Bethesda will do something about this eventually. We want more ships in our game, Bethesda!

    I’m on Xbox. I’ve tried both versions the main one then the light one and the game is crashing on load screen. I have tried on installing a few mods and nothing won’t even work on a new start.

    Everything on my PC loaded and no crashes. I'm at 150 mods so I think some people are overloading their games when it should be kind of obvious with the amount of mods they have that there are issues.

    Unfortunately I am getting an infinite loading screen if trying to start a new game, or crashing immediately if trying to load a previous save.

    I'm on PC, used MO2 to install and have about 188 active mods including this one.

    I am able to get it to load if its the only mod. 

    Edit: I am able to load in with the lite version, haven't yet gotten around to finding any of the new ships yet but game is behaving as expected otherwise. still at about 200 mods/185 plugins. Also endorsing despite the troubles, that is a worthy Idea RumBakats.

      +1 to this, but i run 230 mods.
      CTD on load with this one, no ctd if this mod is the only loaded.
      Looking forward for a fix since it's an awesome work.
      EDIT: Tried the Lite version too, same result. I will test later by removing the only other ships mods i have : V-Tech Line all of them but not the PDY line,  included the npc plugins, no SVFramework.
      EDIT 2: Nope tried the above and the game crashes on load of an old save, gives infinite load screen at new game start.
      Guess i'll wait for a fix, still endorsed cause i see the effort...but i worked on my load order for weeks, and all i have loaded is pretty much untouchable. (i'm still on 1.14.74, but this shouldnt matter)

    Finally, the mod we've all been waiting for, more ships! and what makes this better is that they're not available for sale, which makes them even more valuable to grab when encountered. With TN's Out in the Blackness it'll be really amazing snatching one and fixing it. Definitely worth downloading.

    Thank you so much for doing so much work to make this happen!  I got a heads up for this on Discord, so thanks for setting that up, too.  I am truly impressed with the creativity displayed by the people who built these ships.

    Also, I really appreciate the manual installation instructions (which worked) because I've found that mod managers eventually mess up my installation.  So now I install everything manually, lol.
