My game keeps crashing while I'm at my outpost, and the Train Wreck crashlog is reporting: Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FFD113110BB VCRUNTIME140.dll+00110BB, with the probable stack being: 0x7FFD113110BB VCRUNTIME140.dll+00110BB rep movsb [rdi],[rsi].
The only vcruntime140 in my game folder is from this mod, but it's vcruntime140_1, so idk if it's related.
The crash has been inconsistent. It happened twice, back to back, while flying over to my storage containers and landing on top of them to check contents, and once while selecting the power category in the build menu. But I've been in the game for the last 20 minutes trying to recreate it and it hasn't crashed.
Thanks for the detailed report. I've briefly looked into it and from what I can tell the crash is occuring inside of the "real" vcruntime.
If you go to +00110BB inside of my file you'll see the assembler instruction there isn't aligned with that address, however in the "real" file it points to a valid instruction inside of a function called "memcpy_repmovs".
I can't be fully confident but I believe it isn't caused by SFAE.
I appreciate you looking into this, thank you. I looked at the two previous crash logs and saw that they both reference memmove. One is VCRUNTIME140.dll+001123D memmove and the other is +00111DA memmove. That lines up with what you found with "memcpy_repmovs". I had a feeling it wasn't caused by SFAE, since the vcruntime in the crash log didn't have an _1 at the end, but I figured I'd report it just in case.
Looking into this crash led me down a rabbit hole that ended in me finding out that all Starfield save games are basically a ticking time bomb. Due to improper form ID recycling, a save will eventually bloat with so many form IDs that it'll become unstable and crash constantly. So that's pretty cool..
Been using this mod since September and installed the latest update from January (1.4.2) and this mod seems to be working fine with the latest game update (1.10.31).
Yes, it is working. I'm playing in gamepass. But somehow, other mods won't work with this achievement enabler. Have you had problems with other mods (see my post below)?
Sorry, I don't know as I only have three mods enabled so far. StarUI Inventory and HUD plus the N7 armor. All of them worked fine while achievement enabler was running. In addition, I used achievement enabler only for some hours so I can't tell what would happen if you run it all the time.
Thank you @arcturusx. I was making some tests, and I find that this mod removes the mods that affect the achievements and turn saved games into no modded files. That is why you don't missed anything.
Is it easy to install? YES! Can it be easier? HELL YEAH!
For those of you who wishes to have an organized Mod List with everything tiddy into your MO2 while also maintaining your game folder clean and vanilla, here's how you do it:
You'll needROOT BUILDERin order to do this. READ ALL THE DOCUMENTATION OF RB!
I installed it via Root Builder .. I have a log file that gets created, but I do not see a cfg file created anywhere.
EDIT: The config file got created in the main game directory .. I grabbed it and moved it into the Root directory for Root Builder in MO2 (where the dll file lives) and now it works fine from there. I turned on the console to make sure the cfg files works ok via Root Builder
The Log file says it is working.
I added SFSE and SFAE via root builder so I can keep the game directory pristine / clean.
Hi. It seems that this achievement enabler is working. Before, I was using the other achievement enabler for gamepass (playing in PC). I tested the game, it didn´t changed the save file to modded... yeah!
But, I noticed some mods aren´t working with this achievement enabler, such as " instant scan" and " sleep bonus multiplier".
When I remove the vcruntime140_1.dll the mods come back to work. Is there any workaround to have them working with this file?
No it's working fine for me on the new update, 1.9.67. So your problem isn't with the update, it's something else to do with your setup.
Your log should look like this

Here's the full crash log and my Plugins.txt, if needed.

What does it mean?
Windows 10 Pro x64 bit
No Game Pass (whatever that is)
Starfield launches through Steam
Thanks

do i need to change something in the cfg file? (i have not made any changes to it previously)
It does create the log and the cfg files.
I have tried verifying files but it still fails to load the game
