i would like to request a patch for the new atlantis subway mod. there are 2 spots with elevators in the mod that are displaced and just need moved. one spot is in the entrance to the gardens and the other is near the space port area that has the little vending machine shop with all the tables and chairs right where you land. i was also wondering if their is a reason that the ship lands at the top of the city rather than the bottom. my ship and my character have separate spawn ins and i was hoping that could get looked at.
New mod just released today, Positively New Atlantis. Will a patch be required to work with New Atlantis Awaits? The combination of these two mods together would finally make New Atlantis the capital city it should have been.
Update: I tried running both together, there's definitely some minor conflicts along the edge of New Atlantis.
I didn't keep both installed for more than a few minutes, I was only doing a brief test. I noticed some clipping in a few places, and a translucent wall near the lake.
I installed both NAA, The DP Aerospace (mansion), and the patch. For some reason, my landing pad in the lake below the mansion is slightly underwater. Not sure mod is at fault... but something to look at.
Hey Checker, sent you a direct message regarding some of the mods I have baked into my load order that effect New Atlantis that may conflict with NAA but in case youre already getting a ton of messages I'll post the main ones I am curious about here:
Stairs Galactic Highway Network(patch for this one would be clutch)
OutlandRemodel (creations) - no patch needed (interior cell, door is accessible)
New Atlantis Store overhaul (nexus only..i think) - no patch needed (interior cell, door is accessible)
The Viewport Restored (now patched) - FYI - hunter is now hanging out behind the bounty board as his prior spot is now a door - just in case anyone wondered.
and of course my favorite underrated unknown NA mod New Atlantis Space Age Flora (probably not realistically patchable given the extent of the changes)

New Atlantis Subway has a conflict with at least the spaceport cafeteria, I will check the rest of the subway stations tonight and update on that.
Galactic Highway network adds a highway that wraps around the perimeter of new atlantis including 2 large elevators, the highway and elevators come in conflict with multiple added buildings and terrain changes (buildings blocking the highway and elevators around the perimeter as well as trees clipping directly through the highway. This may be the most daunting patch as it encompasses most of the city but together, your mod and this creation would be very cool if solved.
I will test the rest of the creations I listed tonight for more detailed accounts of what each conflict is.
Alright I am back with an update, after exploring NAA with the creations I have listed above, I was able to confirm some are compatable and removed them from my list but 2 creations remain that have conflicts and I can report on them in detail:
New Atlantis Subway - Two conflicts here: New Atlantis Subway adds 3 subway station to new atlantis that are accessible by elevator. The elevator in the spaceport occupies the same area where you have placed the cafeteria leaving the elevator to block the entrance to the cafeteria, the second conflict is the subway elevator to the residential district which is placed behind the lodge in the same location that you have carved a footpath (next to a galbank kiosk) and so the elevator is sitting right in the footpath where the gap in the wall is. The third subway elevator in the commercial district is conflict free.
Galactic Highway Network - This is a total conflict and as stated before would be the most daunting to patch: The creation adds a highway that wraps tightly around the original city limits for New Atlantis and as such conflicts constantly with buildings added in NAA as well as features on the ground and terrain edits (the palm tree park area behind the archives conflicts with a parking lot added by GHN as well as support struts for the highway conflicting with various changes made by NAA around the city, the highway itself outright conflicts many structures around the city perimeter).
^ Galactic Highway is a large mod that has so many conflicts with New Atlantis Awaits that I'm not even sure a patch is possible or would be worth the effort to create but I did want to bring this to your attention in case you wanted to work through it. I was thinking about it and the idea came to me that maybe a "lite" version of your mod that removes the expansions to the city beyond its original limits but keeps the changes to the city proper may be the solution but I am not a modder myself and so all I know is that it is probably going to be a difficult task to work these two mods out. New Atlantis Subway should be comparatively much easier to patch for but I wanted to list both as these are the creations from my original list that I have narrowed down as having the most obvious conflicts.
I hope this helps, I also screenshot and video captured on twitch my exploration of these conflicts if you would like to see them in greater detail however I am not sure if I can post videos of that size here. Message me and I can perhaps link to them or email them etc if you do want to see them. These patch requests are by no means demands or even criticisms but simply a wish list of compatibility patches that I thought would be very cool. Seconded on the Galactic Highway Network creation. I use it and can confirm the same issues, but I'm willing to forego using it for the time being until a potential patch or "lite" version is added (as ChaddVictorium suggested) in favor of using NAA instead. But I would definitely like to see a patch for it, if it's doable. :)
DP Aerospace patch does not seem to work. Building is still covering the mansion and support for other building is still in the middle of the landing pad. I have the patch below both NAA and DP aerospace in the load order. No issues with Falkland patch or the rest of NAA. Really makes NA like an actual city, not just an outpost with fancier architecture. Great work.

As far as i can tell, its only the entrance that is blocked by the spaceport stone wall. Also the shuttle lands on top of a lightpost that is added by Rabbits New Lights NA mod. maybe you could include removing that post too.
Let me know if i should contact the mod authors for permission or if you will do it :)
I also understand if you dont want to do it since other projects are more important right now :). In the end its not a huge issue since you can enter the shuttle services from the exit too. and the post doesnt prevent anything its just clipping with the landed shuttle.
I am using Settled Systems Shuttle Service (SSSS) by DownfallNemesis from Creations with NAA - The NA-based SSSS HQ resides in the same building as the NA police at the spaceport with an entrance in the front and another one for boarding shuttles on the backside. Unfortunately NAA reactivates vanilla walls there and blocks both entrances.
I made a little patch for NAA and SSSS for full compatibility as a small master plugin - I have only removed both the corresponding vanilla walls in CK (not by actually deleting them, but by setting them to initially deactivated and moving them downwards on the z-axis).
Would you mind if I publish that patch on Nexus and Creations (free) for others to use?

Or maybe you'll find yourself downloading these mods, for some of em are quite nice to have (some are payed creations BTW). I sorted these by area.

I skipped the ones that already have patches here. While you may deside to not look into these directly offcourse, i made this list purely for the handyness of having a a list. But like i said, some of these mods are quite nice to have, or maybe someone already has some of these mods, and can deside to reply directly to this post, or someone downloading/buying em in the near future. But you can Bet your Bumms, that once i get my new PC i will be doing the research myself if needed.
And while i don't want you to, I did kind of expected your mod to be amongst the paid ones, some are payed ones but don't look that great, while your mod is free but looks better. But like i said, don't go and be getting any idea's now
I use some of the mods mentioned and most of them dont have any issues. For example: The Dome and the Penthouse Mods dont have problems. Checker90 has done an amazing job of overhauling only in the right places. any special interior cell will work if you can accses it :) wich for most of the ones you listed is possible without any problems
Well that's good to know. So i only have to Check on the LSD's New Game Customizer to check if there are any conflicts. Fortionally for me my new computer might arive alot sooner, so i can't wait to checkout New New Atlantis in it's Full Glory soon
