Is this compatible with other mods that add starborn cut content? i have one that adds the starborn decor but doesnt have any outpost structures like this one
I have ran into an issue with being able to build the stuff added by this mod. It says I am missing the starborn perk but I AM a starborn so I am unsure as to why its doing this. Maybe I have missed something.
This was indeed my issue. I did not realize you only get the starborn perk after the unity, seeing as we have powers prior to that. Thank you for releasing a version without this requirement, I think all the stuff is cool and am happy to finally use it myself!
I had several requests and I figured if people are downloading a mod they don't want limits like that. I thought it was cool to have as a Unity reward, but everyone plays different so why not.
Hmmmmm. I'll consider making it available after the last temple instead of going through Unity. I want to keep it special and I'd rather not have to support 2 versions when I want to update.
I can't remember the code but you can use console commands to make yourself a Starborn from the start of the game . I think there's a cheat mod on Creation Club that lets you even give yourself any of the powers if you want , I'm tempted to use it myself . because after going through unity 5 times my favorite one is still at level 1 , while all the useless powers that I don't even use are all at level 5 . Typical Bethesda , just like in Skyrim where you find all kinds of worth picking up things in chests with an easy lock , and then break 10 lock picks on a master lock only to find garbage in the chest . I'm sure Todd thinks it's funny , but I call it a howdy F<>< you .
The Vehicle option in the Ship Services Terminal has eluded me since my first mod, no matter what I do, my custom terminal won't work like the vanilla shipbuilder terminal either. Not sure if it's missing a keyword on the vendor side or the terminal. I couldn't find anything directly in any scripts either. I'll follow your progress on this, if you don't mind, I'd like to know the answer too!
I think making the Starborn ship upgradeable would be better than the vehicle option . But I can't stand the way the Rev 8 handles , so I don't even use it . The fact is the best ground vehicle in any space game is the one from Mass Effect Andromeda , and Bethesda should be embarrassed that they couldn't even get close to as good . Unless the person that made it drives to work in a car with blown out suspension , I can't figure why they made it a pogo stick instead of trying to make it handle like Trophy Truck . My game is still a running simulator , they can keep their Rev 8 . The reason It doesn't work with the terminal , is likely because it was designed to work with the ship vender dialog . So it would be easier to add a ship vender NPC to your outpost , than to try and add that function to the terminal . You could likely just copy one of the ones that are already in game and function perfectly . I've never tried that in Starfield , but I have in Skyrim using console commands .
I am working on a mod that makes the Guardian properly modular *and* upgradeable. Weapons, engines, shields, reactor, grav drive, cargo, fuel, all will be upgradeable based on player level (NOT number of trips through Unity)
It will also include a unique interior that will let the grav drive, and thus the armillary, be visible from inside. There will also, of course, be the Crimson Fleet special modules so you can do that quest with the Guardian. I am hoping to have the mod done in another month or so, time permitting.
I made two other landing pads with ship terminals since this one that worked fine. I think it's just because it's floating and the stupid car is too far away.
Agreed. Been waiting on Starborn-style outpost habs or buildings to be made for a few months now... I'd KILL to be able to do it myself, but I don't know the first thing about creating custom buildings or the like. 😅
If we're lucky though, maybe we will get something at least close enough to the aesthetic sometime soon. :)
Custom models are currently beyond me, but I have been thinking of taking some classes.
I made a full sized temple, but the door is solid and all attempts to make load doors in outpost objects have broken the mods badly. The Starborn Stonehenge player home is amazing. I could make something like that but it would be a bit blocky and odd I think on the surface.
I can't remember what it's called but someone made a Starborn house / base on earth's moon . Whoever did that may be willing to help you figure it out . I'm sure I could learn to make my own mods but I don't even know where to start . If I could I would start by making a customizable camera mod and than a face light mod . Making the most beautiful character and mods that make viewing it better is my number 1 priority . Than come's Ship building and base building , in that order .
Can't wait to try these out!! Your outpost decorations are in every one of my builds, and these are some welcome new additions!
Do I see right that you have a working display for melee weapons? Or is the schimaz a special exception? I didn't think such a thing was possible, and I can't wait to show off in some new weapon displays!
This looks very interesting, I already have plans for using it and I dont even use the starborn ships or suits. The aestetic and functionality promise so much more than that and Im looking forward to find uses even in some of my small ships.

Can you also upload an optional file where we dont need said Starborn Powers before being able to place em?

I was just having fun with the temple pieces here.
Any chance we could get some outpost buildings in the same style? Maybe something with huge one-way glass windows like the ship?
