Hmm, didn't even notice the Music! In most games I turn the Music almost all the way off due to copy right when making YouTube Videos.
I'll remove it and make an Optional file to download with music off, if I can figure out how to turn it off
Edit Ok, I deleted the cockpit sound in creation kit, but it made no difference in game, then in the games audio settings I found that the music is linked to the effects audio slider, not the music slider, which is weird. But if you turn the effect audio all the way off to remove that music, you have no other effect sounds, obviously. The music is really not that bad, it adds a kind of eerie ambiance to being in an other worldly spaceship, but if it irritates you that much, just reduce the effects audio.
I use a mod that increases the amount of power you get from your reactor bonus from that skill I can't remember , And a mod called Starborn Galaeron . So between those 2 mods my Starborn ship Looks awesome and isn't underpowered , I'm using the furnished version so I have all the workbenches and more all ready to go . I've never understood why they chose to make the Starborn ships so weak and pathetic , or why we can't just use the ship builder to make them better . There's also a mod that lets you build M Class ships and Starborn ships , but I've never been able to make a working version myself . If someone who really knows what they're doing tried they could likely make a 1 bullet 1 kill version . I've watched Youtube videos where people make it look super easy .
1 Bullet 1 Kill would loose it's appeal after a short period. It would be kind of like playing in God Mode, fun for awhile, but when there's no threat of Death or injury, the level of fun tends to diminish. I like to feel powerful enough so that I stand a chance of winning, but only just. In a fight there needs to be a little panic
But, it's relatively easy in the creation kit to increase the damage from the ships weapons to be Instant Kill
Well then you're in luck, that's exactly what I was aiming for with this Mod, it's not OP and no where near as rubbish as the Guardian VI used to be. Also you don't have to spawn it in or buy it. As long as you're NG+6 or Higher, you'll always get it after going through the Unity.
What I learnt making this mod, is that those numbers are purely for visual display and have little to no effect on the corresponding category.
For example, I could make the weapon super over powered, dealing massive damage and it could use only 1 power. Same for Shield. Can max out the shield health but only require 1 Power. The opposite is also true. Super weak damage with crappy shield, but make power requirements 12

To be honest, all the Starborn ships need this type of upgrade.

Didn't make sense to mod the First 5 ships because you will eventually go through the Unity and never use them again
But they should have already been better from the start, not sure why Bethesda made them so lame in the first place!
