Why I am here : The lazy bastards waste your time , then you sleep to wait for a plutonium container to fill is when their kids take over programming with a giant indoctrinated shortcut NO. Will my time continue while sleeping or waiting or is it skyrim time stands still magic on a player's NPc? Beethesda stopping time while sleeping needs removal or the game can only work for under 11's. This why god mode is around.
Ahhh. I have a bat file to pass 24 hours but I haven’t used it yet. Is using the bat file/console command instant? That would be great if so, but I figured it wasn’t.
I think it's because I use vortex, deployment method set to hardlink, and staging folder is on the same drive as starfield. I didn't change these settings that I remember and I won't pretend to understand it, but have read that this basically makes it so the steam folder works for me

The game as skyrim/Fallout/Oblivion have a "WORLD RESET TIMER". that happen each 120 hours in game time, if you sleep/wait for 120 hours, every single world, or Dungeon or city or scenario, will reset. (resoawn items, revive enemies etc etc) only those places like your ship, home, outpost, constellation are "safe places" and still reset something on constellation.
Why I mention this? because I test this over an over with many missions, that require to log into a computer, open a door that only unlock because the quest is active? now since the world reset, that door, computer, safe, or NPC will reset too and the game think that there is no quest active to unlock those things or dialogue with the NPC.
Solution? just remember to complete any quest remaining in your list, before sleeping 99 hours with a speed mod to sleep faster. be happy, enjoy the mod ♥
Because some planets have different time durations. The amount you'll get is not significant. So, sleep 24 hours to get the most out of your mining rig. You need to find a planet where that rotates slowly like Venus. One rotation of Venus is around 245 days in Earth hours. So when you sleep for 24 hours at Venus and your mine at Earth. You'll get 245 days' worth of mining materials. So imagine sleeping 99 hours...
