i remember getting hyped up to see the ECS constant in the first game play and it was just a ship that looked mostly the same as every other ship... this is more like how it should have been. Thank you!
f*#@ing love these so much, really hope you make some more themed like this, heck some old school battleship or like aircraft carrier parts, heck even Wolfenstein like kinda things. f*#@ing amazing work genuinely excited to see what you do in the future
Using this mod, pdy and the pdy patch, nice ship but for some reason i can't use the ladders except the one to the cockpit, i'm forced to use my boost pack to change level. Dunno what's causing this issue.
Edit; ignore this, just saw the answer in earlyer posts.
Really love your Nautilus and Echos of the past mods. I have just one question if you don't mind. Is it possible to change the power on that engine from 7 to 6. The reason I ask is for symetrical design when building a ship. I agree it should be high power but with 6 power you can have 2 of them in your ship designs which makes for a more symetrical build. I could see making the 6 power version a C class engine to help with balance. Thanks for considering this.
I think minus the nautical themed stuff and a bit of the grunge this would make for a really good reimagined hopetech set, always ticked me off that for what was supposed to be a function over form space trucker hab set it was often kind of bland and sterile.
Hi there, I just downloaded this mod and am having the ladder issue, but I don't know what to remove or how. The instructions say to remove the hatches above the ladders, but there's no hatches that I can see. Do I do this in decor mode or ship builder? Could you provide of screenshot of what I'm supposed to remove? Because I'm not seeing anything above these ladders, even the cockpit ladder doesn't work.
This appears to be a known bug in the game that can arise under specific conditions, and it seems that the confined nature of these hab makes it happen often. How to fix for the ship:
Access Ship Vendor: Go to the ship vendor in your game. Enter Shipbuilder Mode: Switch to shipbuilder mode to make modifications. Copy and Replace Hab: Locate the ctrl hab (control habitat). Copy the new ctrl hab and replace the existing one on your ship with this updated version. Move an Item: Select any item on the ship and move it slightly. This action helps prompt a refresh of the ship layout. Save Changes: Close the editing window and save your changes to the ship.
Note: The complexity and number of elements within these hab can exacerbate this issue. While all the habitats are based on the same original game setup, something unique about the ones I've created is triggering this problem. but by replacing the hab, you reset the navigation mesh, which helps resolve the issue on the ship.
I’m currently investigating the persistent ladder issues further and will provide updates as I find solutions. Thank you for your patience as I work through this!
