    Thanks to you I was able to remove an esm in my loading order, because it combines two mods in one and just for that this mod is top. ^^

    Questions:
    - Is it possible in a future update to have other options for the number of crew and passengers ( 5 - 10 ) or to have an option that subtracts crew and passengers? 
    - Do you plan to upgrade the cockpits in a future update so that the number of available seats corresponds exactly to the number of eligible crew?

      I could add different amounts fairly easily, might even be able to make it configurable via game options, I will add that to a my list of things to look at for/add to this mod.

      I do not have any plans to touch cockpits for this as that's a bit out of scope currently, if I get into more ship component modding in the future I may revise that scope though.

      I have now added gameplay options which allow you to choose 5 different amounts (5, 10, 15, 20, 25) or show all possible variants.

    I spent several hours with mods and ineffective solutions. I am hopeful about this one. Thank you. I will test it.

    Edit: I tested it and it didn't work. This does not change the capacity at all. It only increases the slots. Capacity and Slots are different mechanics and both need to be increased, in addition to the rank level, of course;  mine is 4.


    

    The ship's status shows the slots with a maximum crew of 57, but the maximum capacity has not been affected at all, remaining at 5.

      Your screenshots don't show me which component you used to increase crew capacity, you have to make sure you install one or more of the components that actually increase the ship crew capacity.

      The perk changes only exist to allow you to have more crew, as that perk controls one of the 3 limiting rules for how many crew you can have but it does not increase the amount of crew your ship has, you need to install the components to increase ship crew capacity, the perk alone cannot do that.

      Below are screenshots of both the ship builder UI showing that capacity is being increased along with crew slots and what the CK shows for my components where you can clearly see that I'm increasing the 3 stats that matter (one is a hidden stat) for crew. The "SpaceshipCrewRating" is the "Crew Capacity" stat and "SpaceshipCrewSlots" is the "Crew Stations" stat.

      On top of each engine with the gray color, there is one of each, totaling 3. The 3 plates gave me 45 additional slots. As I said, the slots increase but the capacity does not at all.

      I'm not sure what to tell you here, I tested this on both PC and Xbox with both clean saves and old saves with both small and large mod lists and never encountered any problems with ship capacity. You can see in my screenshots im increasing the only items that I can which influence crew capacity, there are not other stats that touch it at all, so something else must be changing the underlying system on how that works in your mod list.

      I replied to you in the bug post. I came to the conclusion that the error is in the Save. And I can't get rid of the bugged Ship, the base is the Frontier, the only ship where the Item Framework still works without any errors. I will try to contact the remosito asking if I can update his mods, he has disappeared from the map.

    I've literally spent the last 3 hours looking for a mod that did this exact thing for my next playthrough.

    This sounds fantastic. Is it possible to have the location of said 'Hidden' quest? as optional?

      Location? the quest is just a means to run the script, there is no quest to follow.

      I swear to god I'm sure I saw something in the description about a quest to follow to get it unlocked.. lol. I could of bet my life on it.. unless I tabbed at something else haha.

      I might have worded it weirdly but yeah I haven't gotten to the point of doing followable quests yet, one day I'm sure I'll get there lol
