Changelogs
Version 1.0
Initial release.
Adds the option to sleep in UT hours rather than local hours on planets with long daylight cycles, so you can have a normal night's sleep wherever you are. The option is available as an alternate activation for all useable beds (including ones added by mods) on any planet with a local day longer than 24 hours.
Requires Cassiopeia Papyrus Extender. Install with your preferred mod manager. Safe to install at any time. To uninstall, open the console and enter "help TCB_SleepUTQuest" to get the Form ID of the quest handler, then enter "setstage FORMID 100", replacing FORMID with the one from the console. This removes the hidden perk that gives you the new option on beds and cleans up the quest to avoid orphaned scripts. You'll get a notification when this is done, telling you to make a clean save, exit the game and deactivate the plugin.
Known Issues
The local time shown on the sleep/wait menu updates incorrectly while sleeping, showing both local time and UT advancing by one hour for every hour slept. This is a UI issue only, local time and UT pass correctly.
Actual sleep time is always half an hour less than the amount selected in the menu. This is a base game bug and not caused by this mod.
This even works on tidally-locked planets, which Starfield doesn't have... yet.
