    Compatibility Question: Is Echoes of Cydonia compatible with The Dusty Cydonian Face? I am aware that both alter the interior of Cydonia, and I want to narrow down and exclude as many truly incompatible mods, as possible.

    A very interesting effect, yes... BUT for a settlement that is essentially central to Mars, it's too dirty... They would have made several more remote settlements around Sidonia, and there you can do a lot of dirt and despondency... The province!

However, the dirt and rugged atmosphere of Cydonia is meant to reflect its industrial and mining roots, emphasizing the hardworking nature of its settlers. The idea of creating smaller, more remote settlements around Cydonia is intriguing—it would add depth and contrast to the region. Perhaps those areas could represent the "province" you’re describing, leaving Cydonia as the central hub. Definitely something to consider for future projects! 😊

      another option is possible when Sidonia is the administrative and main resource extraction center and there are several settlements around with different directions from fully civilian and expanded mining settlements to entertainment malls and military bases accessible to military personnel. That is, it makes sense to distribute the centers in order to increase survival in the harsh conditions of Mars

      ...ideally, add your own Martian subway between them, connecting the ring of settlements with central Sidonia.

      The Echoes mods are designed for interior enhancements, while the Winds mods focus on exterior improvements for the same city. So yes, they are fully compatible and complement each other perfectly! 😊

    it'd be amazing to have another entrance/exit near the glass walls... And it'd be fantastic to have a much deeper underground colony, with train stations etc. A lot like what we saw in The Expanse, for instance.

      Totally get what you mean! Cydonia definitely has that Martian vibe that feels straight out of The Expanse. Now all we need is a sleek MCRN Donnager-class ship cruising around the place!

      Completely agreed. Cydonia for me was always the main city that I think needed the most expansion based on what we got. Neon, Akila and New Atlantis may not be as big as many may have wanted, but I was still looking around and finding new things off and on months later. For Cydonia, I felt like that should have happened, but it didn't. It's pretty much just 2 areas and even the player home was canned (it was overlooking the main area on the top floor). There should be WAY more of the mining operation going on too. We see a lot of equipment and the setup outside but barely anything inside (it's just the bottom floor).

      an expasion of colony citys would be MOST wecome
      and not just Mars
      you'ld think 8+BILLOIN people would show up WAy more across the so called settled systems
      Mars ALONE as 1st human colony BEFORE diporia should have DOUSENS or more citys
      most underground or at least borrowed into cliffes an mountains
      a monorail sys like the nat would be a natural thing

    Yo this is really cool, thank you! Even the hand crafted areas in the game really lack character and you're doing great work to add it in. Almost uninstalled Starfield recently (got 300gbs of mods installed) and seeing this pop up and having played it for a bit stopped me. It's a chore when anyone speaks in the game (so badly acted, written and stuff) but I do like the gameplay and now immersive atmosphere.

I totally get what you're saying about the dialogue, there’s definitely room for improvement there. There are plenty of great plans ahead for Starfield, and I’m sure we’ll make it even better together!

  7. VERY Nice Work!  I like the Darker, More Industrial feel and look to Cydonia which makes complete sense, since there is active mining just 20 feet away from the Main Concourse
