Thank you for your response, I did exactly as you said, but nothing to do I don't have this mod on my weapons, the mod is installed in (\Users\[whatever your username is]\Documents \My Games\Starfield\Data) textures weapon, but doesn't work in games, I still have the basic reticles.
did you create a StarfieldCustom.ini file in C:\Users\[whatever your username is]\Documents\My Games\Starfield\ with these lines in it: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=Because the game won't use any mod files without it.
Also, it only works on the reflex sights in aim mode, afaict. Not the scopes or hip-firing.
mod looks great and all but im looking for a mod that removes the annoying tint from the sighs. its impossible to see anything when the light is coming behind u and the glass on the sight reflects the light back and blocks the visibility. i have to 80% of the time just wing it when ever i try to use sights indoors or at night also would be neat if there was see trough scopes for short and medium range. i hate it when every Bethesda game treats all scopes like its a sniper scope
Hey man this is awesome, it's probably my #1 most favorite mod, I can't believe how bad the vanilla reticles are lol. As someone else mentioned it would be awesome to have a simple dot for the UI reticle if that's possible. If you are feeling really spicy it would also be super awesome to make the "glass" in the optics clear instead of the different colors they come with. Either way thanks dude this is a must have.
sorry I mean the ui, I should have made that more clear. the ui crosshair. I was wondering if you could do a replacer for the crosshairs in the game with just a single dot ( like the one in normal free roam 3rd person)
Installation is the same as any other texture edit: Extract the data folder to Documents\My Games\Starfield\. Do not use Vortex, it doesn't know how to do this. Ensure your StarfieldCustom.ini is already set up for loose file loading: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= I followed the installation tutorial exactly, but I don't see any crosshairs on my weapons, no change!?
Dear modder, I would be very grateful to you and I think not only me, if you would make the glass of the sight transparent, remove the green and yellow colors, it really interferes with aiming, especially depending on the light of the environment in the dark or in the light! And tell me, please, is it possible to increase the size of the dot a little more and its brightness, I will be very grateful to you, dear person! person!
The textures are already almost entirely white, the materials interpret "white" as "recolor this as [red/green/whatever]"; there will be no way to change that without actual material editing tools.
Yeah I just checked the textures. They do seem to have a bright white spot in the middle in game though, at least one, can't see much on the screenshot. I also made the textures half the size and haven't noticed any quality drop, being loose is always nice to have them more optimized. Thank you very much for this.

Works perfectly.
I'm on PC Game Pass so for other people like me, mod installed here:
"Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data"
Thank you for this great mod ;)
(\SteamLibrary\Common\Starfield\Data)
It only works in the "documents" data directory.
(\Users\[whatever your username is]\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data)
By default you will find this directory on your C: drive.
Note that the next folder in data should be textures, not another data folder.

Looking for a mod that fixes exactly that.
great mod btw :)
Hello yes yes I put the lines correctly [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal= in the ...custom.ini folder that I created
I was wondering if you could do a replacer for the crosshairs in the game with just a single dot ( like the one in normal free roam 3rd person)

EDIT: got it
