But seriously -- great mod! Along with the Farm Fresh Fabricated Produce mod of yours it's basically essential if one wants to cook properly! Wouldn't mind adding a few more things missing to either of those (like coffee or tea to the Produce one... or some way to make those damn noodles... ), but still appreciating the effort! Downloaded, installed and endorsed!
There is a similar problem with Meds and Chems but Senterpat in Out Ultimate Tweaks solved it without new containers. Manufacturing Meds and Chems used new ones. I'll try out some others and report back
Yeah, I've been trying to create a new container that links to it. So far everything I've tried that limits the contents to food-only winds up not accepting the incoming links. Clearly I'm doing it wrong.
I can easily create a linkable container that has no limitations, but that's unbalanced and I'd like to keep some balance in this mod.
EDIT: Found it! I had forgotten that Milk isn't a VendorFood (it's VendorDrink). That's what was blocking the link to my new storage container. Fixed that issue and uploaded the new version.

However, the output of these is food. Unfortunately, food items aren't classified as "Solid, Liquid, Gas, or Manufactured" like other items.
It appears the only linkable container that works is the transfer one.
I'm going to be releasing an update to this mod soon. 2 features I hope to add:
1) A new type of outpost storage for food that can be linked.
2) Significantly increased built in storage for the protein synthesizer.
