out of all the hdr mods thisi trusted the most since i saw you also owned a LGCX :) and boy what a difference, many many thanks, one question though, how can you dim the light sources a bit though? that comes still a bit extreme to me, but other then that, this is infinetly better then vanilla an other options i tried. great!!
First you go to the reshade website found at http://reshade.me/
Download the reshade executable and run it, during installation select the game you want to install for, in this case Starfield. It should pop up in the list but if it doesnt, manually navigate to the folder where your Starfield.exe file is located.
If prompted select DX12(Direct X 12) as the shader engine for the game.
Then it will ask about which plugins to install. Just select them all, since this ensures compatibility with other reshade presets moving forward and also lets you have lots of options to play with.
This should install reshade. Now when you boot Starfield you will see a prompt at the top of the screen for reshade saying its loaded. Reshade has a built in tutorial on how to use it which is helpful to follow.
Once reshade is installed, all you do is drag my .ini file into your main Starfield directory (the same place where both reshade and Starfield.exe are now located). Then while in game, you can hit "Home" to pull up reshade and at the top of the screen you can select presets and select my preset. Make sure your reshade is toggled on and youre good to go.
