Thank you so much for this mod!! I naively completed a bunch of Vanguard quests expecting to get new uniforms and armor with each rank… silly me giving Bethesda that much credit these days 😅 So I’m really happy you implemented a system that actually delivers on that idea! I did run into a small issue though probably on my end. I can’t seem to get the upgraded armor from the requisition kiosk. The only items showing up there are the regular Vanguard armor (just green instead of blue) and the Vanguard Officer apparel. If I’m not mistaken, those are both vanilla items, so maybe the kiosk is defaulting to the base versions? I’m confident the mod is installed correctly since I can spawn the items through console commands they just don’t appear at the kiosk. Is it possible the kiosk doesn’t always display the full list? Or maybe I’m just missing something about how the mod integrates with the requisition system? If you could shed some light on how it’s supposed to work between the two, that would be super helpful! Either way, thanks again for all the work you put into this it honestly gave me a renewed reason to keep exploring and immersing myself in the Starfield! 🚀
I love this mod so much! The armor/outfits look incredible. The black green and orange color scheme is fantastic. The navy and vanguard marking are the icing on the cake. You did an amazing job here.
In case anyone is curious. A really cool thing I found out is that this is compatible with MonkyChief117’s UC Military Overhaul mod. Since the Vanguard marine spacesuit uses the vanilla marine visor texture the dark opaque visor effect is applied to it automatically. It looks so badass!
Hey Ash, how fares your UC overhaul mod? I am so looking forward to your work, that I constantly keep coming back here, just for updates by you? Do you have any eta on the horizon, anything you can share about your current status?
Man thank you so much for your interest, I'm excited about it too, I just need to work on a few hiccups along the road, I am highly meticulous, I rarely release something I am not confident 100% and I'm juggling different mod projects on multiple games.
But I'm definitely not giving up on this one, I can't wait to jump back in.
Your message does motivate me to get into it sooner though. Stay tune and thank you again! Much lov3
Hah, I am very glad to hear, cause I am always hesitant to "bother" a creator with such posts. There is so much in the background (like you say, different projects, life, whole other shenanigans) that is not visible for one on this side of the screen and it can be bothersome, if there are the constant naggin plebs around.
But yes, I am very eager and trust you will deliver a pristine (well near as, there is always something ^^) experience. Thank you for the reply and keep up your spirits! Cheers to you!
Luv the mod! It should have been in the game to begin with. If you ever come back to this mod can you make an option for the space suits to be instead of green?
I'm on Xbox, and there seems to be a Bug where all Armored fatigues, including recon make your hands disappear in both 3rd and 1st person. Is there any fix to this?
This mod causes the Trade Authority guy in the den to wear a vanguard uniform. When I uninstalled the mod, I went to see if the guy was fixed but now he wore a Vanguard spacesuit. It's a minor thing but I can't stand anything to be broken.
If you are on pc, fire up the console, select that character and type resurrect. He should reload his original gear. Otherwise you need to wait 48 ingame hours (or whatever the time is for the itemlists to reload)
Would this fix the guy even with the mod active, or only assuming the mod is uninstalled? Aside from this I like the mod and would like to reinstall it.
I don't know why he is wearing a Vanguard suit in the first place, must be in error, or cause he uses the same level list as one edited mayhaps. You can try to do the same. The command will do as it says and just resurrect the NPC and hence reload all his gear. You can also try to use Openactorcontainer 1 on him and see, what items he has in his inventory. If he has no other outfit available he will always at least use a spacesuit.
This issue is leftover from prior testing. Even with the updated version of the mod, using resurrect or recycleactor commands are necessary to fix it. I understand this might be frustrating, but since The Den is a Vanguard outpost, it’s a minor immersion issue.
I’ve already reverted changes to this vendor in my current version, but it’s possible the fix didn’t carry over to the last update. This will be resolved in the upcoming update.

I'm using your mod on Xbox. I'm having issues with the UC Vanguard Armored AND Recon AND Utility Fatigues. If I look at them in the inventory or try to put them on and walk around, they glitch and look as if they are trying to escape my body at the speed of light. I can't imagine what it might be conflicting with. edit In another thread about a bug with Habs someone posted about polygon explosion that looked similar to the outfit bug I see. A modder posted this: "if you’re on Xbox, it’s likely that the mod author is using internal geometry in their .nifs. they need to use external geometry and separate.mesh files in conjunction with their .nifs. if you have a .nif that is using internal geometry, in nifskope click spells -> mesh -> convert to external geometry. it will spit out files with terrible names that i highly recommend that you reorganize and redirect in the mesh paths of the geometry nodes of your .nif. to prevent creating .nifs with internal geometry, i've had to roll back to an older version of the starfield geometry bridge plugin for blender from before that was a thing." here is the thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/starfieldmods/comments/1jxtr65/whats_with_the_polygon_explosion_when_i_try_to/
1. Xbox manage files differently and it's a bit tricky 2. I don't own a Xbox and makes testing obselete 3. I have consulted with other modders and I figured out what cause this and how to resolve it (which described what you just told me)
Very sorry for all the issues on Xbox and thanks for confirming the issues you are having.
Since you are touching up the UC, are you going to also touch the weirdly unique black SY-920 uniforms which are unplayable for some reason? Along with the SY-920 pilot uniform that uses the regular UC pilot ace uniform despite there being textures for a black UC SY-920 pilot along with the pilot next to them using said black SY-920 colors?
I’ve been busy these past months settling into my new home and finally got the Wi-Fi set up. I have so much planned for this game and want it to be as polished as possible before release to minimize patches. At the same time, I’m eager to finish and publish it. I also still need time to unpack and take care of a few home improvements.
Congrats on the new home! Take as much time as you need, I know the stuff you'll make will be high quality. :)
Edit: Oh and BTW should you need a tester in the future, I'm still up for that, but you'll have to allow friend requests on discord, as I tried before and it would not let me

What is the visor-less security helmet in the first pic?
