Not 100% sure but I think bForceNPCsUseAmmo also affects turrets. I believe the turret spawn templates are set to use LL_Ammo_777mm and LL_Ammo_Laser lists for ammo which isn't modified by this mod (or Immersive NPC Ammo), so as far as I can tell they only spawn with a couple of rounds.
Yes, now that you mention it, I remember that I had already changed that in Fallout 4. Totally forgot about it here though. V1.1 is online. I changed the weapon LVL lists for robots to x200 (high rate of fire) and for the turrets (laser and ballistics) to x250. Thanks for the hint.
Thank you very much for the mod! In addition, I significantly increased the damage, both mine and the enemy. Now the battles have become much more dynamic and dangerous. I even started using grenades... and mines! to cover the bypass routes! With this mod, playing has become a blast!
I have a question. Can you add an option to the mod that after the death of an NPC would reduce the number of remaining cartridges to a reasonable amount. For example, leave 1/10 of the part in the inventory, deleting the rest.
Since, periodically, I fight with my inner hamster, who tries to drag away everything that is lying around! :D And so I have to loot each dead NPC, count - how much cartridges to take.
You can carry several containers around with you and rename them via the console. I have e.g.Weapon, Spacesuit Set, Clothes, Misc, Resources and Aid containers always in my inventory. Which I can fill at any time on the go. They also have infinite storage. Take a look at photo 3.
The other solution would be very time-consuming, I would have to scan the area for dead NPCs every time after the death of an NPC, these would then have to be searched for ammunition and removed accordingly, according to criteria. And since the whole thing does not run without While loops, the computer load or script load is drastically increased. Depending on how many NPCs are lying around dead and how much they have in their inventory. This could lead to problems on some systems. Unfortunately, this will not work well.
I use auto loot kill and ammo weight, this MOD is unusable as it is for me. I really appreciate the effort and work put into it though. Can you make a version that just doubles the amount?
Thanks. But there are other mods for that, such as the Immersive NPC Ammo.
The purpose of this mod is to increase the amount of ammo that NPCs get so that they can engage in longer firefights and not run up to you with their melee weapon after a few seconds. Doubling it is not enough for that.
Thank you for replying. I looked at the directions and I don't think it's what I'm looking for. A bold question, abusing your patience, is there a way to give this power to NPC enemies and when they die make all their ammunition unlootable by some rule or workaround, I don't know?
I found a janky workaround to get it running: I set up the Item Filter Framework - Filter and Sorter to nuke, yeet, and send all ammo from loot MODs straight to the great beyond (Void). With this your MOD is perfect. Thank you very much!
Thank YOU!!! I'd tried once turning NPC use ammo on and was sadly disappointed when this lunatic dumps one mag at me than charges! Needless to say (but I will anyway) I halted his charge with a well place 12ga round.

thanks for the kind words. But I have a much better solution, which I also use because I am always too heavy.
Try this one: Portable Container (by the way, it's also from me) :-)

And thanks for the advice. I'll try these mods.
Best regards.
Good luck!

Since than I'd never bothered to use it again.
