Hi just wanna ask what's his Actor ID so i can add him as Crewmember for the Millennium Falcon Mod :) or are you looking forward to make him a crewmember?
The Nexus says this mod was last updated November 11th at 6:35AM, but the file in the Files section was uploaded on Fallout Day (October 23rd). I'm confused, more than usual.
I don't care for Star Wars in Starfield, and yet, many of your mods I really like, as they add things to the game that complement it, whether one wants Star Wars in it or not. And, I ask, if Radicalclownfriend can do these things (like creating custom followers), why can't - or why don't - other creators do so. On your profile page you say: "I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm doing it really really well." Yes, you are indeed! Thanks, and keep up the good work!
What's the old saying? "1% inspiration and 99% perspiration." Yeah, you can have a great idea, but if you don't put in the time and the work, and make the effort to figure things out, then it can all be for naught. Radicalclownfiend is doing it right!
To be honest, I fear that Starfield never had huge amounts of modders with great expertise from older Bethseda games being really interested in this game. Besides the Star Wars mods, only one big area for modders seems to be relevant by now, and thats ship-building.
Many games have some Star Wars mods like Cantina music, lightsabers or Vader armors. You can have all of that in Fallout 4 if you want. But does it fit there? No. Starfield is nearly perfect for that Universe. And other franchises like the Alien ort Starship Troopers would fit as well.
I thought that Starfield would be a dream for modders if only for true Starfield content because of the many empty regions. But the struggeling reputation Bethesda has today, the low views on Starfield content on social media and of course bad reviews for this game seem to have a huge impact for potential modders.
It´s sad but that´s how it is. I´m really glad that there is a growing Starfield-Star Wars community and I bet, that unless Disney says NO these conversions will be the main reason keeping Starfield alive.
The authors from the previous game come over, lend their expertise and frameworks, then bounce back to the old game; in this case Fallout 4, whereas with that game it was Skyrim.
These things take time. You'll likely see a big boost in the Starfield modding scene in a few years time. Bear in mind that the game has only really been out for like a year, and they still haven't released all of the planned DLC.
Of course, Bethesda still need to fix things like the lip-syncing error in the meantime, and there may be a longer tail end with the Creation Club soaking up a lot of the goodwill on both the user and authors' ends.
Starfield has surpassed Elden Ring as far as the number of mods made and downloaded on Nexus. It's growing towards Morrowind's spot in the games list, so I'd say the modding scene is doing fine. It's still new and we already have a ton of great mods that will be further improved on
When I have Chewbacca mod enabled my 'glass case mannequins' and regular outpost build mannequins (vanilla ones) (both oupost building and the regular in game ones at pois) are just floating heads. Disabling chewbacca they revert to full bodies.
I was waiting for the update. Were your mannequins doing Chewie's growl? Mine did that to me on the original release and was was at around 3:00 AM. I thought I was losing my mind. well, I may still be but at least not for THAT reason.
Not yet, Mos Eisley is a project in the works from another modder that Radicalclownfriend helps to test (which is why it's in his game). They have not provided any release timelines yet that I've seen. I've been patiently waiting for it's release but deep down I'm like GIMME! :P
