Astroneer is one of my favorite Starfield mods (alongside Luma and StarVegas). Unfortunately, if you jump through the unity, Aria won't spawn in the new game. In the past, the only option you had was to disable the mod, save, and then re-enable the mod. This erases any research progress you have made in the mod, not to mention uninstalling mods with scripts is dicey at best.
The solution: this mod makes the NPC Aria essential and unique, as well as labeling one of the objects she is connected to in the New Atlantis worldspace as persistent. This allows the debug Aria functions already present in Astroneer to work. There is a CCR toml file that'll fire up after you go to the mission board and will bring Aria back from the Starfield nether. The CCR file enters the command cgf "Astroneer.DebugResetAria" into the console. Because she is now connected to a persistent object, the command "just works" even if the cgf command didn't work for you in the past. If you don't want to install the CCR dependency, you can just enter that command manually into the console and it will work. Make sure you have the latest version of Astroneer installed (as of now it is 0.0.3) or the fix won't work.
So, in summary, this patch will make Aria appear in NG+ and any research you have completed before going the Unity will remain with you since you won't need to disable/enable Astroneer to make Aria appear. Tested several times and works but would appreciate knowing if it works for you.

5) When you are ready, go through the Unity
6) On you new game, whenever you're ready, head to New Atlantis
7) Go to the Mission terminal outside the Viewport in a balcony near the security area. (This is a convenient terminal, but any terminal that gives ATLAS missions should work)
8) Accept an [ATLAS] mission from Astroneer
9) If you didn't install the optional dependencies, type cgf "Astroneer.DebugResetAria" into the console. If you did install the dependencies, this will be done automatically.
10) Aria should spawn if she hadn't already and you should be able to enjoy the Astroneer mod missions.
