How did you use the "recycled player choices and NPC dialogue" so that some NPCs can recognize your background? I'm currently in the works of making a Intelligence Operative/Spy player background.
So this mod still works btw ..https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6869 .... in combination with your mod adds a nice bit of roleplay to a new game ...just thought I should point it out. ...
I have to figure out how to record on my laptop. I am playing through the Pirate background currently, and will add photos as I get to each quest and dialogue option. In the CK there are 40 records attached. (Gangster has 50).
You could use obs for video recording free. By the way...could you make a mod for any npc or followers that gives dialogue option "Stay Here, This is your new home" which will command said npc's to relax within a certain amount of distance in the area. I want to be able to have companions stay in my homes. I would donate and if you put this on beth as a pay mod I promise many would want it for obvious RPG reasons.
If I knew more about scripting mods in Bethesda games, this is something I would love to try, but I believe this is way over my head currently. I just started using the CK the last few days. But the idea is brilliant. I may tackle it when I get some more experience in modding with the CK.
In Fallout 4 and Skyrim, people made mods where you could click dialogue and tell npc "This is your home...stay here". The NPC would relax and do its thing. Seems like making a small beacon that can be used like a settlement beacon would I assume create a place to assign where ever you place it.
Suggestion for a related background trait; Privateer. Select a faction when choosing (UC or FSC). Opposing faction will react the same as Pirate background, while the faction you chose will react the same a Soldier background.

A few things that I would like to implement in this mod are:
