Version 2 adds a way to obtain Naeva Mora's outfit, and (if you're reading the slates) makes for a better story. This isn't retrospective I'm afraid, if you've already completed the quest you'll have to add Naeva's outfit with a console command.
2.1 makes a small change to the way an NPC spawns so you can't miss out on items if you leave the area. And I renamed the gun so it's a better reference :D. This is the same as version 1.0 on Creations.
I've also added some optional textures to debrand Naeva's outfit and remove the Crimson Fleet skulls. I was actually quite surprised nobody had yet uploaded a simple decal removal for the outfit, the existing ones I've seen here also change the colors.
Apologies if im being dense here. But i read the slate, found the briefcase, and took it to the ship technician and got the engine. But never was able to find a cart in the bathroom.
The cart is where Ryleigh was supposed to drop the case, for Hans to pick up. But she was getting cold feet - and she can't do it anyway now because you've taken it. I hope Hans is the understanding type...
[You don't need to find the cart, it's just part of the story, there's nothing there.]
Ok so what's the deal with the Astral Lounge? Don't you just pick up the case and head to Elios to see the Ship Tech? I take it once you give him the plans you can see the engines in the Ship Builder? Or is there more to the story? And yes I'm thick as a brick on this! Thx
NVM, Had to refresh the Shipbuilder to see the engines listed. This was a nice and needed mod to get around the dumb NG+ thing!
Preciate this. I am having some confusion with the quest. I find the pad no problem but the steps after are eluding me. Went to the place on neon. Then checked out the system. Cannot seem to progress past finding the pad.
You're probably overthinking it. The pad mentions two places, the pickup location within Slayton Aerospace and the drop location in the Astral Lounge. Ryleigh seems to be having second thoughts about the whole thing, so probably hasn't picked up the briefcase yet. It mentions elevator maintenance control and a utility corridor, is there anywhere you can see in Slayton Aerospace that might fit that description? The briefcase is rather large and stands out, so have a good look around.
If you're still struggling, the spoiler below will show you where the case is:

From the main reception area in Slayton Aerospace, head to this door highlighted by the red ring, opposite the security office. If you need to pick the lock and are afraid of annoying the guards, there's another entrance to the same room past the elevators, on the right hand side.
When you've opened the door, the briefcase you're looking for is right here on the top of some containers. Activate it and you'll be told where to go next.
It's true. You also can't sell planetary surveys to Vladimir or resources to Noel. Why the heck not?
I thought it would have made sense if you at least still had to get the artifacts which were found by someone else first even if you admitted to being Starborn.
I'll definitely use this though. One less thing to lose out on if you tell Constellation the truth or if there is no Constellation in that universe.
I just learned that this week. What a stupid design decision. There's a mod I'll download as soon as someone makes it. Mods like this are how people learn to love Bethesda games, despite their worst efforts.
While I dislike being accused of being a pacifist just because I use my words, I do support your model of "alternate acquisition": Much better than the "this mod enables all of the everything" method.

update: Nevermind…I literally just needed to take a few more steps forward and the outfit found me. Brilliant!
