Nice ship and one of my favorites as long as my char has not the ability to fly a class c or I want a much better looking and much harder to beat ship than a Kepler R... :) Beside my chars right now waiting in the unity, all my actively played chars use this ship as their main one.
I tried to edit it in-game due to add the utility parts needed to reach Kryx' Legacy. Unfortunately I encounter an error (too few landing gears) which I could'nt bypass with my knowledge and/or skills. Do you have an idea, what happened and how to bypass the issue? The in-game ship-builder is no friend of mine and vise versa. :)
Glad you like it. It is also the best looking ship I've build I think.
"Too few landing gears" means the mass is too high for the number of landing gears attached on the ship. In other words, it wont be able to lift itself. The solution is to either add more landing gears, or reduce the mass. Each type of landing gear has different lifting capability (or whatever the game calls it), which the editor should display when selecting the landing gear. Similarly, each module displays the mass it adds to the ship. Storage modules in particular adds a lot of mass iirc.
Do you get this error without modifying the ship? I created it in the Creation Kit editor rather than ingame, but the Creation Kit editor still has the same limitations, so all my ships are supposed to be buildable ingame.
So I think the issue depends on the "Cargo is Cargo" mod, which gives cargo habs cargo capacity but also some weight. Good to know. Beside my little issue the ship performs great, means much better than the "Kepler R". The weight issue only prevents me from changing it, what's not necessary beside the CF-sidequest.
For stuff that isn't just a texture swap I'd suggest getting a mod manager. I personally suggest the Nexus Mod Manager Community Edition it's a lot simpler than Vortex and MO2 for first timers IMO.
If you are dead set on not using a mod manager Steam > Steamapps > Common > Starfield > Data. Drop the .esm in the Data folder and enable it through the Creations option on the main menu.
