This is AWESOME! I have never seen any of your vids before, since I really haven't explored the ship building aspect of the game. I am totally going to build this one! I am really impressed how you can make this look like even I can make it. Great job, and I am sure we all want to to thank you for taking your time to share this wonderful ship.
I am glad you like this build! Just be cautious with the habs! When I built this thing last year, I decided to get ambitious with the habs placement and it often takes multiple RNG rolls lol to get the habs laid out in a nice way that isn't such a maze.
And yes, you as well as anyone else can definitely build any of my ships on their own following my guides. I tried to make all of them as slow-paced as possible, going through part-by-part. No shame on other YouTubers whatsoever, but I had huge trouble following some of the peoples' guides that I saw because they were moving so fast. My ADHD doesn't like constantly alt-tabbing to pause or rewind lol. I aimed to make my guides something that I would be able to follow as a result. Because hilariously so, I make these videos for myself so I can go back to build them later, just as much as I make them to share with everyone else.
Anyway, I hope you got to build your own Ark-Class! You're welcome to show off screenshots of it here if you would like!
So a bundle pack is planned if you want to wait for that. It'll be up here on Nexus and Creations as soon as I can get it done! Might be another week or two.
First of all, a big thank you for your ships; they exude talent. With the recent release of the DLC, are you going to make a Va'Ruun-labeled ship? I'm deeply into role-playing with them, and I admit that I would love to have one of your ships on this theme.
Thank you for the kind comment! I really appreciate it 😁
As for a Va'ruun ship: it IS something I have planned to visit actually. I have tried to visit this in the past as well, but I admit that I don't personally like Stroud-Eklund parts and the way they come together, as I often joke that all Stroud ships look like flat shape ships from Elite 1984 lol. I was sort of hoping we'd get a glimpse of other House Va'ruun vessels with Shattered Space, especially since Bethesda mentioned there would be new Ship customization stuff with the DLC but we never got it.
So I am planning on trying a House Va'ruun Stroud build, or if I am up for it, going way off and designing House Va'ruun something brand new. My character doesn't really align with their values though, even though he tries his best to respect the Va'ruun, so I am not so sure how all that conflict of interest would really work with my own RP. Maybe I'll have them kidnap my character and force him to design them something? lol
One ship you may enjoy "Va'ruun-ifying" in the meantime is an older ship I built called The Scintillant. It's a Deimos build and was originally meant to be RP'ed as a Va'ruun vessel, but I decided to scrap that lore because at the time, it didn't make sense to me that House Va'ruun would be using a Deimos ship. Talking to the ship tech at Dazra in the DLC now though? I probably could have ran with that hearing how House Va'ruun gets all it's ships.
Anyway, take a look and see if you like it. I think it would look good in black: Nexus Mods: The Scintillant
Aw man this looks so good, it kills me that I can't get all these ship mods because of the stutter bug in Ship Vendor Framework. It's such a massive area of the mod scene that I'm completely locked away from :*(
Hehe I got it working ok. Learned just how fragile the habs layout is, and that the vanilla door and ladder placement seems to work as expected most of the time but with elements of RNG 😆
