The mod seems abandoned, I took up the liberty of making an updated version (but english only - I don't know how to do the Strings files to handle other languages): Perk Up - Quality of Life

     -- NOTICE --
I am not the mod author, however I went ahead and updated (or rather made a new esp plugin and performed the skill changes + description) this mod into an ESM (no \strings\.. files necessary). I also noticed Rank 4 FITNESS had the vanilla value (30% instead of the modded 100%), so I fixed that as well. I can upload this mod if people are interested.

    -- AVAILABLE NOW! --
Both versions are available now on Creations, working on getting one here on Nexus.
"Perk Up - Quality of Life Skills Improved" : The default version (only Fitness/Weight Lifting/Payloads changes)
"Perk Up - Quality of Life Skills Improved - No Challenges" : Same skill changes but also removed all skill challenges

The mod is still named as an .esp file.  Need to change the file name to end in .esm

      Please and Thank You

So when adding the line to the starfieldcustom.ini file should each sTestFile part have a different number or should they all read as sTestFile1? I currently have them set as sTestFile1, then 2 and so forth for each of your mods that i am going to try to use

the mod still works, for the most part. there are some issues with certain perks (at least the ones that i can see and that are not maxed out).

all i can say is, because of this mod i went back to play the game because it makes it much more enjoyable to play, mainly the ability not to have those horrible challenges.

would be nice if the mod author would update.

    10/10 recommend it.

if you like to update your mod to current 1.12.30.0 with the new CK2 consinder making it an .esm
the .esp became a questionable format for starfield mods.
nexus have a sticky by moderators about that https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14993

I'd love to use this, but the ESP format has been dropped for Starfield and the advice from SF1Edit and Wrye Bash teams is to stick to ESMs. Unfortunately we mortals are unable to convert ESP to masters with the current tools for Starfield.  Might you be willing to update your ESPs?
    Thank you.

I really wanted to use this mod too, but the ESP format broke compatibility with all other installed mods so I made a quick conversion to ESM using xEdit.
You can get it here: Perk Up - Quality of Life Improvements (ESM)

Friend, love the initiative, but your mod does not do the same stuff as this one, any chance of updating for actual equivalence? (more XP, unblocked perks, etc.)

I can confirm that it IS working (v1.10.32)... have you tried using Plugins TXT Enabler ?

I have my xatmosPerkUp mods in my  "..\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\" directory and the plugins.txt file has the following, and it works just fine (( EDIT: I also had to remove the sTestFile# stuff in the INI of course, follow above mod's advice ))
      # This file is used by Starfield to keep track of your downloaded content.
      *StarfieldCommunityPatch.esm
      *xatmosPerkUp.esp
      *xatmosPerkUpVendors.esp
      *xatmosPerkUpXP.esp

Strange. My .esp mods, encluding this one, are working. But my .esm mods are not. And I have the SFSE and Plugin.txt mods loaded. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

As of yesterday, this mod was still working for me. But after today's update, will the extra rested xp still work? Since the update lets you customize your game and it changes the xp with the customization. I assume the no rank challenge part would still work.

Well, it's telling me that I'm getting +200% xp after I rest. But I don't know if it's actually giving me that much xp boost. I seem to be leveling as slowly as normal.

Hi all, with the update the mod doesn't work at all for me. I'm keeping the skills I've already unlocked but I'm having to do the challenges as if the mod wasn't activated.
In short, is an update of this mod planned? Thanks a lot!

Does this change what the in-game status menu says about your rested xp percentage amount? What I mean is if I go to my status page in the menu and look at my well rested xp buff, is it going to say 100% instead of 10% and 60 in-game hours instead of 24?
