Just to provide some feedback from someone I know who's trying out this mod, currently the food processor takes money, plays a sound, and message pops up alerting them that different food items have gone into their inventory. However, the food items are not actually there. Read below you're recovering, so no rush on this, just wanted to provide some feedback.
I love the idea of this mod. I immediately downloaded this mod when I found it. But, food is mostly useless, unless you also use a mod which boosts the usefulness of food. Such as https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/12356
The problem is that this mod creates its own useless versions of food instead of using the food that already exists. So if another mod changes food to make it useful, you wont get it from these food fabricators. So I have sadly decided to uninstall this mod, since I will never use any of the useless food they dispense. If a future update of this mod changes it to use the food that already exists instead of its own custom versions of the food, then I will certainly install it again. But unless that happens, I wont use this mod.
Sorry for such a late reply, I've been dealing with a lot of illness.
This mod uses custom food in order to ensure compatibility with other mods, otherwise you'd run into conflicts. It also does so to remain lore-friendly, as some food is supposed to be brand-specific. When I'm well enough to work on mods again, I might make a patch that redirects the recipes to the base game food.
I don't know an exact ETA, because I'm trying to make the AIO version be bigger and better and more fully-featured, but I'm hoping in the next few weeks!
The name 'Cubic Food' makes me think of a certain other food item. Perhaps Chunks as a brand wasn't a thing originally and what are now Chunks is what came out of these, which is why they now go unused despite being intended as a usable dispenser, because Beth decided a quirky fast food brand was something the game needed.
I know the cube assets you're thinking of, and I think so too. I'm planning on using those in a different mod of mine, but tbh maybe I'll put them in a future update of this one too. They're too novel to not be used!
Honestly had no clue these were even a thing till I saw this mod. They blend in so much with most of the other generic environment assets. Really wish they'd have done something with this and made it stand out more, since this is one of those things that says a lot about the "world" of the game. Like how Cyberpunk has vending machines that sell disposable plastic guns. Starfield really needed more stuff like this
I zoned in on these straight away, and have been pining for them to do something since launch. Probably trained well from the pie machine in Fallout 4.
xEdit wouldn't let me clean it as a light master, and in general I'm running into a lot of editing issues when I use small or medium master types - probably due to those flags. I think we're still in a bit of a teething stage when it comes to SF modding haha, hopefully the next post-DLC update to CK will bring some more robustness.

"Earl Grey. Hot."
Maybe fork that mod to a 'cube (chunks) only' dispenser.
'Seven Apple chunks a day make all terrormorphs go away'
Congrats on the release. One question though. Why a full master?
I agree this should have been implemented in the base game. Thanks
