About this mod
This is the first entry of the series - It's a simple mod that makes your HUD and map markers more immersive.

HP bars, enemy compass markers, map markers everywhere... For me personally, that's breaking the immersion. The reason I play Bethesda games is to try and find things on my own.
While I know Starfield is a different game than Skyrim or Fallout due to the sheer scale and vastness of areas we have at our disposal, still, I prefer having minimal interference of Starfield's hand-holding systems with my immediate surroundings. I don't like getting lost, but I also don't like being visually bombarded like a tourist in a crowded theme park.
MAIN FEATURES:
- Enemy health bars are completely and permanently invisible.
- Compass will not show the exact enemy location, but it will indicate that you have enemy movement in your vicinity by turning red.
- Size of map markers has been decreased, resulting in less clutter in your HUD.
- Map marker reveal distance has been reduced, meaning, you won't immediately see the location markers until you get closer to the POI. Your surface map will still show undiscovered markers within reasonable distance.
- Hand scanners POI marker distance has been reduced, meaning, your hand scanner will only show POI markers that are within reasonable distance from your relative location.
- You will rely on your compass instead of floating markers. Compass will still pick up undiscovered POIs if you get close to them (pay attention to the small white indicator appearing when you're near an undiscovered POI)
- Discovering new locations and completing scans will give you slightly more XP in order to incentivize exploration.
In addition to this, you'll probably want to disable floating markers and floating damage numbers in the game interface settings:

I also recommend the second entry in this series, Wildlife Scarcity, which (in my opinion) makes the game even more immersive by significantly reducing the number of spawned alien fauna in the wilderness. It doesn't change any other spawn rates (like human enemies or plants).

My plan is to continue making mods for Starfield far into the future.
Your support is much appreciated!
COMPATIBILITY
Unlike other HUD mods, Immersive Exploration is an .esm file, which means it's not touching actual HUD elements in any 3rd party editor and it's only changing gameplay settings within CK to achieve the immersive results listed above. If you have any other HUD mods that are changing HUD elements by loading loose files from your Data folder, the loose files will have priority and will overwrite any overlapping setting that Immersive Exploration is changing.
Additionally, any other .esm based HUD mod that modifies similar things will be conflicting with my mod. However, technically, you can run multiple HUD mods at the same time, it's just a matter of mod load order and what things you want to see changed. By arranging mods in a certain way you can get functional parts of each mod that you like without having to uninstall or make compatibility patches.
For example, I am running this mod in combination with Ammo HUD and they work in tandem without interfering with each other. Compatibility depends on what elements are being edited.
