Can you be specific about what you tried, load order, version you're using, whether you have archive invalidation enabled etc.? We can't help you if we don't know what the problem is
If your using steam just copy the playerhudcomponents.gfx from the mod and paste in both documents/mygames/starfield/data/interface and steamapps/common/starfield/data/interface. This worked for me I discovered this after doing the same thing with Cleanfield Mod. Thank you for this Patch saved me a ton of time!
According to other author's, supposedly adding the line bEnableMessageOfTheDay=0 to StarfieldCustom.ini forces the game to use the Starfield/Data/ directory rather than My Games/Starfield/Data. This must be accompanied by deleting the Data folder located inside My Games/Starfield

Bro, the install instructions for this are a cluster. This mod includes the health bar, boost bar, and compass mod. Those are NOT pre-requisites! You do not need to have those installed, and in fact, having them installed creates a mind-boggling set of conflicts.
Just install better HUD, and old versions DO WORK... then install this mod. Done!

The instructions are basic and concise. The FOMOD is an simple as it can be. The conflicts are self-explanatory and are all the same file. Load the patch last, it's that simple... If that's too much of a cluster for you, i'm sorry...
Dude, it’s a mess… We’ve got this mod, the boost mod, the health mod, the watch mod, and the better HUD mod all trying to change the same file LOL. You should have seen my Vortex conflict resolution screen and trying to sort what loads after what. LOL. I appreciate the mod, but I spent an hour trying to figure out what was going on and why nothing was working, only to realize I just needed your mod and that’s it!
Ps. The new Better HUD with a giant XML is a disaster as well. Way to complicated for the average gamer. The old files are where it’s at. And they work fine with your mod. I don’t know why you say your mod doesn’t work with the older (Main files from Sept 1) Better HUD files… it works perfectly fine.
Vortex literally guides you through the process. I specifically state to load the patches last. All I see you complaining about is your lack of reading comprehension as if it's my fault.
Try using MO2 and you'll see how utterly basic conflict resolution is without Vortex's unnecessary conflict resolution screen complicating things

I never tested the older BetterHUD files, I merged specifically the sneak peek versions hence why I state they are required. I don't care for the older files because the sneak peek has every feature available you could ever need. Use it if you want, it doesn't matter to me. Don't ask for support if stuff doesn't work the way it should
Anyways I enjoy XML customization and if that's too complicated for some people then they should probably stick to playing vanilla games instead of mucking about in things beyond them
I for one had no problems getting this up and running and I'm sure the authors of the original mods appreciate the traffic directed their way. Thanks again for your patches
so just to clarify - you say the newer versions are "outdated", even though they came out AFTER 0.1.0? Meaning we should use the first build of BetterHUD?
Hi there. If I use SEDWT No Better HUD, do I still have to install Better HUD regardless?
My apologies for being confused, I read it all and saw Better HUD is mandatory, but since I'm using "No Better HUD" version, I thought about asking this.
In 1.13.61.0 the interaction buttons not working. Using SEDWT Patches\No BetterHUD\Health+Boost\Enhanced Player Healthbar (WYOR) + Boostbar - SEDWT Patch\ However I did download the latest Enhanced Player Boostbar (the optional one that includes Healthbar as well) and put playerhudcomponents_lrg.gfx into Data\Interface .
Ok nice I can just have SEDWT + Enhanced Player Healthbar only. Nice I don't have to get everything. Though Vortex says SEDWT is redunant and suggest me to disable that, because your mod replaces SEDWT entirely. For those, like me, who have removed BetterHUD and are using StarUI HUD + BYOR Health Bar + Boost Bar + Scanner Weight, there is a patch in the file archives.
Yeah same, waiting on this to keep up to date with Better Hud, as it leaves some of the hud behind (almost transparent backdrop) when the hud dissapears.
What exactly is required from BetterHUD? I don't use it - I use StarUI HUD. Both the scanner and healthbar mods are compatible with StarUI HUD, but not with each other. I'd really like to figure out a way to combine the two without having to bring a third mod into the mix that may conflict with what I actually use.
I know nothing of SWF, but if there's one file from BetterHUD that's required, I'm more than capable of repackaging this mod with it (for my own use.)

The FOMOD wants a special Selection (BYOR or WYOR or GYOR).
I have Healtbar GYOR and Boostbar BYOR.
Do i need the same ColorSheme for "both Bars" equal to the FOMOD-Selection ??
