    Disclaimer: Using Royal galaxy mod which changes perks descriptions and how they work (Ex "Cornered" becomes "Clarity" and also increases Fire rate)

    Facing the same issue that the person in the bug channel posted, The astra amounts seem to change random perks in a similar way to what the person said in the bug channel. Pretty sure this is a inconsistency, haven't tested in a new game tho.

    Im confused about the exchanging of equipment. If i give him a legendary item, he gives it back. If i give him two legendary items, he gives both back. If i give two legendaries and a rare he takes the rare and gives me back the legendaries, with no astra. If i give him everything i have on me: 4 legendaries, 2 epic, 2 rare he takes all of it and i get 4 astra and nothing back, shouldnt it be 5 and a rare back since that is 16 stars total? Also some of my items dont show in his trading dialogue. What am i doing wrong?

      Drop your load order so people can see if there's a issue there, just got the mod and I got my astras the way I expected

    Do you know any video or document I can have a look to learn how this re-roll system works?
    I've been trying to open lots of LGDI forms and leveled item lists but I just couldn't figure out.
    Leveled Item Lists seem to be a bunch of item pool, and LGDI seem to be the legendary perks to be chosen.
    I really wanted to learn how just 'setoutfit' in the vanilla quest script is able to give the player legendary starborn armors with legendary perks.

    Thanks for your kind work.

    I'm enjoying the new economy of selling stuff for astras, but the dialogue regarding UPGRADING my legendaries does not pop up no matter  how many time I reload and re-enter the HQ. 

    What am I doing wrong for having only half of the mod not working?

      I think you did nothing wrong to answer your question 😂
      If you have the selling dialogue, it makes no sense to me that you don't have the other one. Unless maybe you're using v0.1 instead of v0.2? The first version was replacing the vanilla option instead of adding a new one.
      Maybe there's a conflict with another mod? Maybe using LOOT to sort your load order can help ?
      Otherwise I have no idea, but I can check if I'm able to reproduce your issue if you send me your save in DM.

      First of all thanks for the quick response.

      Now, before embarking on file sharing endeavours, I'll give you somegeneral info so that maybe we can troubleshoot it quicker faster better: So, I have a number of mods running, but I believe only the Community Patch could MAYBE have some conflict, as all the others are tweaks to the shipbuilding. I read about this LOOT, a load order tool I believe, and my question is: do I need it while also using vortex for load order-ing? And what is the supposed order anyway? :D

      edit: Hold on, I may have been mistaken all along. I believed that I would have to pay credits to reroll the perks, not astras. That may be why I believed it was not working. My very bad. But that also means that just to reroll few items a few times I need tons of astras. Oh well.

      You're welcome, I do my best to make the mod enjoyable for everyone :)

      I'm not using Vortex myself so I can't tell you how LOOT integrates with it. The purpose of LOOT is to change your plugin load order automatically based on community data to prevent mod conflicts. After a quick Google search, Vortex seems to have LOOT natively integrated so no need to worry about it.

      Cool to hear there was no bug after all! And yes, you need some astras of course, but honestly it's not that long to get enough astras to get your dream gear IMO. If you farm Tracker's Alliance random quests, you can get something like 10-15 Astras per hour (looting the boss chest that might have one and cycling every legendary gear you find on enemies) and you will need maximum something like 50 astras or so to have the perfect reroll (depending on your luck of course). It may seem a lot but I never had to try hard and got enough just with normal playing. I feel like it's better this way as it adds some incentive to play. To save some time it's best to start with a gear that yet have some of the effects you seek for. You could also cheat a little by saving before rerolling. And if you want something more straightforward there's always the Legendary Recycle mod.

      But nonetheless, I thought at some point adding Astra very rarely to vendors leveled list for a very expensive price, I'll reconsider it if you want but I'll have to learn how to add settings to the game first because I think not everyone would be happy with that.

    Thanks a lot for this mod!

    I was about to do this my self after reaching the Trackers Alliance, because the Vanilla way is so useless/grindy...

    Just download new version and it's not working properly: instead of upgrade my equipment it just show me vanilla options to trade astras for some random stuff. 
    UPD.: sort my list with LOOT and all work properly! Thank you! This is great mod! 

    By the way, previous version don't recognize Pacifier in upgrade menu.
    UPD.: because somebody in Bethesda forget to add keyword WeaponTypeRanged to vanilla record of Pacifier :|

    Firstly, this mod is awesome and creates a much better astra - equipment cycle.

    Secondly, IMHO, I think it would be better if the player still had the choice to get a random piece of equipment. While it is pretty easy to buy a baseline weapon of any type in the wild and upgrade it this new way, some armor/suit sets are pretty rare and the only chance of finding them are through a random draw.

    Just figured I'd share my two cents. Thank you very much for your effort in creating this.

      Yes, I figured out people may still want the full random option after I saw it's pretty much the only way to get the new Bold and Vibrant suits.

      I'll add back the vanilla option next week if everything's right :)

      well, that answers my question.  thought I'd still be able to buy a random legendary as well as upgrade.  thanks for the mod, it's working great for the upgrading.

      I added back the vanilla random item option :) Sorry I took longer than expected, I've been quite busy and I rewrote the mod in a cleaner way.

    Hi, I recently downloaded the Melee Madness Mod and I noticed when using the upgrade feature of this mod, the melee items get armor piece legendary effects rather than weapon ones. I'm curious if that's an issue of Melee Madness not tagging the melee weapons appropriately? I know this mod isn't made to interact with that one but I'm asking so hopefully I can fix it on my end. Also I 3rd what splarx said below, ty for the great mod as always :)

      I'll look into that. You may be right about Melee Madness not tagging properly, I need to investigate more.
      Currently the scripts treat everything that is neither ranged, melee, helmet or backpack as a suit, but I'll enforce a suit check to prevent such errors in the future.

      It was not the mod fault but mine. I fixed the problem and made sure the items will no longer be processed if they are not properly flagged.

    Anyone who played this quest knows the system with Stache needed some help, if I wanted to gamble and play a little roulette I'd go to a casino. Thanks for the mod.
