Cool idea, one of my older saves I remember encountering this and even tho it was a brief side quest I thoroughly enjoyed it and backed Juno completely. Even tho I generally don't mind poking in the faction questlines in each universe/save I do being able to encounter this regardless is a nice option.
5% from 40% seems like a huge change, but then it's been quite awhile since I played the save I had this encounter the last time. Since my new save once I hit my first NG+ universe start is going to be a really lengthy casual slow adventure where I just take my time having the chance for this lower will make it more interesting I think. I know there's still tons of random encounters I haven't seen yet since having another low chance one mixed in will just add to the adventure.
Think I'll have to try this out when I pop my unity jump later today. Thanks for this.
I have a real problem here, I didn't join this faction yet so I do not have the option to free Juno? The only option I have is to say "eh maybe you're right, it's just a malfunctioning machine". I REALLY do not want to kill this machine but this mod triggered this event without giving any options but to agree to kill it.
I actually came here hoping to find out if I can just kill these two imbeciles and leave or would I be stuck there and break my game? this machine's worth far outweighs these two odious fucktards by several orders of magnitude.
Anyone please help, I had to save and quit the game hoping to buy some time until I fully understand what my choices actually are..
Yep just verified this on my end. There's a speech challenge to talk them down but I didn't notice it was conditioned on having joined Ryujin. I'll look at bodging a few more options for non-Ryujin players.
Does this also disable god-mode on those two coercive idiots? cause that is the only real adjustment this quest needs, aside from a meaningful followup.
Technically, the player is supposed to be eligible for the quest no matter what but you get the option for the good ending only if you've previously joined Ryujin. But, this is Bethesda, so your mileage may vary.
