This is a real convenience and time-saver when exploring on planets. Majorly saved me from dying from exposure in my tissue paper spacesuit many times!
I have one request however: would you be good enough to make a variant that is less decorated inside? My freaking psychosis sees all the stuff on the shelves and my head voices all scream at me to try and click on the stuff and loot it, I am embarrassed to say.
So what I was thinking was maybe a 'lite' version of the hab, with just the actionable units, a small cooler, and a folding table and folding chair or two? Make it a little more 'portable-looking' and a place I can duck into without going into an apoplectic fit because I can take all of the items off of the shelves... >.<
Unfortunately, it is not possible to set up objects such as terminals, chairs, etc. in the tent via Outpost Builder. Could this be fixed in the next update? I always get the message ‘Cannot place object on this ground’.
I would like to place an Oxygen refill station in the tent. I use the tent in the outpost. Every new mining outpost gets the tent first.
For testing I would use the command "help "Tent Kit" 0" to find the ID and use player.additem [enter ID] to add it to the test character's inventory, so this might be a workaround if you aren't able to find it after the update. On my main save the kit I thought it had disappeared but it ended up being in my ship cargo. xD
I'm not sure if this trick is recommended in Starfield, but you could also try disabling the mod, making a save while it is disabled, and then try enabling the mod again and loading the save. I'm not sure if this has adverse effects on a save in Starfield so I would proceed with caution on that front.
I'm not sure if I should post this in the bugs section because I don't know if this is caused by something on my end or if it's intended. I placed the tent in a very windy location (Tau Ceti VIII-b Frozen Plains), and it's really noisy out there with constant wind noise. When I enter the tent and stand between the two doors, it's quiet as it should be. However, when I pass through the second door and fully enter the tent, the same outside sound starts up again. Is this intended, or is there a fix? Could it be an issue on my end, or should I just place the tent in a quieter location?
Yeah, the problem seems to be fixed with the update. Although I had to remove the previously placed tent and set it up again to resolve the issue, in case anyone else is having this problem.
Edit: Hmm, now I can't use the field lab, industrial workbench and armor station. It says they're obstructed. Other stations seem to be working fine. (I haven't placed anything in the outpost other than the tent.)
Edit 2: Changing tents location fixed it. I don't know what the hell is going on but it's working now.
This is brilliant - exactly what the explorer would want to have available for when those pesky sandstorms pop up on a long jaunt. Need somewhere to lay low for a few hours. Not sure how it all fits onto the back of my buggy, but... let's not think about that part lol
There is a box labeled tent kit that should be located on a shelf in The Lodge basement. It is the only thing you will need to build it and when you destroy the tent in outpost mode it will be returned to your inventory along with any items that were in the boxes/displays.
The picture is the one of the character standing in front of shelves. To help simplify, go to the Lodge basement, just past the Space Suit Workbench, to the shelving unit left of the workbench. Mouse over a "crate" and it should reveal the Tent Kit. GLHF!

What do you say? :)

First of all - thanks for the mod. Really lifesaver (i'm playing with nasapunk and starvival too :) )
But after updating to v.1.2, the tent kit disappeared from the ship cargo. And it is no longer in the Lodge. Did I do something wrong?

I hope this helps!
Workaround with player.additem worked fine for me!
Once again - thanks for the mod!

Edit: I just saw you're second edit. lol
This is actually a caveat that I noticed during testing and forgot to mention on the modpage, my apologies.
Thank you. Endorsed.
Thank you for this awesome, convenient pocket home!
