Hey, how does the ambient and filler light props work? I tried placing them on the ground thinking that they would emit some kind of light but they don't seem to do anything. I tried placing them on top of desks and other surfaces and still nothing.
EDIT: Nevermind, it turns out they do work, but inconsistently. You have to reload the save first for the lights to show up
Is there any chance you can upload a version that actually costs materials to build. Just like 10 - 20 aluminium or something would be fine. I make a habit of not installing cheat mods and getting free building parts deffo feels cheaty. Anyway just wondering.
So I'm not certain these are part of this mod, and I've built too much to safely disable it to check, but I'm having an issue with an inter-hab door module: The one with "Secure Access" written on it (Door4) won't open.

I only discovered your channel yesterday, and I'm in awe of what you're able to do in terms of decoration, especially getting the mood lighting right for habs. If fact, one of the main reasons I'd love to see an achievement friendly version of this mod (aside from supporting you on the store), is so that I can use your "fill lighting" objects for my outposts. How do you line these up perfectly with the hab geomerty. Every time I try to build in an outpost habs everything is crooked because there is no snapping or universal alignment unless I'm an idiot and am missing something. I don't want to spend 30 years trying to get everything perfectly algned with rotation set as low as it will go. Is there something I'm missing? Or is this not a feature of the mod

I'm having a problem where when I place doors, NPCs and those who are accompanying me can't get through. I've seen other mods with mesh problems, which is more Bethesda's fault and I don't know if that's the case or if it's actually a bug. My companion, for example, runs out of the hab and stays below the hab, exactly below where I am.
Which habs were you building in? That might actually be a hab issue. I found that if there isn’t an actor zone around a hab that quite often NPCs will hang out underneath instead of inside the habs
Also which doors were you using? I can have a look and see if there’s anything strange about those ones specifically
This mod is exactly what I've been looking for. Great work! I managed to use the rug trick to get a green door into the door opening on a four wall hab. However, when I try to do the same for a lux hab, it just won't go in. There is always some collision issue.
Is there a way to place only the doors without the surrounding wall? I can move the door back with console commands, but this leaves the "door frame" and wall in it's original position. Tried disabling them in the console, but it seems they cannot be targeted.
I hope this makes sense, cause it's kinda hard to explain.
It makes sense to me, and standalone doors is my current mission for this mod. If you have the newest update there are some new door pieces under the Structures tab that can be built in between habs. They’re like short little hallway pieces with various doors inside them. They need to be built at the same time as building the habs though
I am working on a better solution that can be built at any time along with more options for ships, but it’s currently still a work in progress
Oh, I didn't see the new pieces under Structures yet. These are great! I already put some of them to use. Just need some lux doors for my mansion I'm building with almost only lux pieces. ;) Keep up the great work!
Can you make a version of those hab connecting doors that open to the outside world so I can put one by itself on an outside wall as an entrance so I don’t need to use an airlock on breathable planets?

I'm not sure that there is any snap to grid in Starfield, so it's not something I've been able to add to the mod I'm afraid

can you please change the version number at the top right of the page from V1.4 to 1.5.
Otherwise you always get an error symbol with Mod Organizer 2.
