Hello, and thank you for all your amazing mods.I’m on console, and unfortunately, your mod was working great until the camera issue reappeared, and I can’t find the problem. I’ve tried putting it first or last in the load order, and even removed and/or disabled all other mods to keep only yours, but the camera still doesn’t change. If you have any ideas or want me to run other tests, I’m all ears.Ideally, and if it’s not too complicated, it would be great to have a button in the settings to reset the camera. What’s strange is that the camera issue doesn’t affect all ships, but once a ship has the problem, it’s impossible to change it back.
Well, I’m replying to myself, lol.I deleted the mod… and actually, the camera got even worse. It seems like it still somehow compensates for Bethesda’s bug. However, when you modify the ship, the camera resets, and then it’s perfect. But since modifying the ship crashes the game… it’s impossible to enjoy it.
Sorry to hear this! I haven't experienced this bug but as I am playing on PC it's possible this is something related to consoles specifically. I'm not sure what could be happening but I'll try to test it out and see if the blueprints dependency could be causing the issue.
Xbox player, Loving the mod, does fantastic for my small and mid size ships.
Have had a bit of an issue though. I tried to disable the mod as it just doesn't zoom out as far as the glitch does on really big (70m+) ships. For some reason this has now removed the blue neon light effect. Most notable on parts from the inquisitor neon lights ship parts mod but the mag weapons lasers are now odd looking as well. Removing/disabling, re-enabling it doesn't work. Messed with load order but no luck so far. Not sure if this is just because xbox or an unknown conflict. Tried jumping back in saves but the effect seems pervasive.
Sorry to hear that. I really don't know what could've happened there because SECS only touches 2 settings in-game, the positioning of the camera in the x and y axis. It has no contact with lights or ship parts of any kind. Are you sure that you don't have some conflicting lighting or ship part mods installed?
P.S. That glitch could also happen if you have too many mods loaded at once and your mod index is above 250. As for SECS making the issue 'visible', I'm thinking it's possible that when you disabled SECS, your load order got 'refreshed' and revealed some other conflict in the process if you had installed a couple other mods at the same time.
I'm having issues with Avontech and Inquisitor mods and the blue lights as well, however I do NOT have this mod installed and just came to install it today. Was checking posts to see if it was still compatible with the latest update and saw this. I can confirm what BosDragon is saying. I installed some mods and uninstalled them but I think my mod order was changed and there is a conflict elsewhere now. I am on PC BTW. So yah. It's not SECS.
Thanks for confirming this. The mod has now been updated to a new version, confirmed compatibility with latest patch and DLC, also a new feature - less camera shake.
This looks like a useful mod, unfortunately with Starfield esp's cause issues in normal gameplay so this needs to be an esm file as opposed to an esp
ESPs are intended to be "work in progress" files for use with Creation Kit. All mods being shared with the community should be using ESM format plugins.
See the section "ESP files vs ESM files" in this Nexus article for complete details.
Appreciate the work you put into it and look forward to downloading it, thanks.
This is my first mod for Starfield or in CK whatsoever, so I didn't know that! Thanks for the useful info. I will get to work and try to update it to correct format tomorrow.
Thanks for the quick reply BosDragon, yeah it's new as of Starfield and when the CK came out on June 9th at that. We've seen it with a few new mods. The article I linked has all the info you should need and thanks again for your work on the mod.

Any suggestions?
Edit: and on Avon tech parts.

Figured id mention this, i was cruising through my mods to merge misc. edits that don't need an ESM and saw this.
Thanks for the mod anyway. This is best ship camera mod I ever try.
