This mod works, also more importantly, it looks like it belongs in the Starfield universe, so it works as a good replacer for the crimson fleet if you are tired of seeing nothing but spacemen everywhere. This mod is GREAT because despite the star wars tag, I don't feel like I'm playing star wars. I feel like I'm upgrading the look of starfield factions.
I know I'm doing something wrong. I use Vortex to install either bsa or loose , tried both, and ingame the armors are missing textures so the model is shiny black. I tried reinstalling, and both versions of the mod, also setting esm to last in load order. Checked install instructions and checked if missing requirements. Its probably something Im not doing to install it?
I have shattered space dlc. I used to have crimson x but 'uninstalled' that once found this, in vortex. Maybe that isnt issue. I have plugin.txt which Vortex updates, and also recently learned, thats non essential yet mods require it,.
Updating own comment, 1stly, the error was from NOT THIS MOD, but the spacer mod for starwars.. this mod worked. However if anyone has an issue like this then try install ba2. The ba2 version I'm going to attempt for other mod with spacers to fix it, this mod works. do install it BECAUSE ... ill make new comment.
is there any way to get naveas new outfit? i noticed you have that same armor on one of the mercs on the scow and I could just do that quest and get it off his body but Im avoiding the main quest for now could you make them craftable or am I missing something thank you this is one of my favorite mods
So using vortex, playing through the opening missions, the Crimson Fleet guys are showing in vanilla armor. Is there a troubleshoot or a step I missed minus just installing it?
you can try to disable and enable them back again via console. or use "resetinventory" on them. But my best guess is, you have some other mod overwriting the changes if the above method doesnt change anything.
I suspect its the overwriting mods but I reinstalled your mod so I would imagine it should be more recent. That said I will dig into this angle but in the meanwhile I was wondering if you could clarify about the disable and re-enable? What part am I doing this too and how? The actor or the items itself?
if you are on pc, open console and click on the npc that is wearing the vanilla armor. you should get sth like "NPC_XYZ" on your screen. then type in "resetinventory". this will reset his inventory and if he still got the old armor even though he should use the new one, it will update to the new one. except the mod gets overwritten by another esm of course. try moving it at the bottom of your load order
So as a test, I switched to another conversion mod and even with resetinventory, it did not take (tried with your mod and the other just to see where the issue is. Your weapon mods seem to still be working.)
I worked it out. I been out of the game so long, I overlooked the Creation Club load order and forgot to check it off in there, believing it was enough to use the vortex load order.
you think it would be possible to replace the officer and/or the sniper armor with the shadow collective armors. I always fancied both mods but obv you cant run them both so far

Type in "help jodo 4 armo" and you should get the item ids

Edit: One thing, it's a bit... Shiny/glossy.
