I've been searching for this feature forever! I can't believe it already existed! Thank you so much!!! you're amazing, you're the peak! AWESOME!! This wonderful mod allows you to scale baked into the save! So a character of A is 0.96 Character B is 1.05 etc. Great feature.
could you possibly upload the original .esp file? i'd like to edit your mod for personal use in CK so i don't have to go through all the console commands. this way i can use it in different load orders as well. thanks in advance.
Neat mod! I'll be able to use it as soon as Engine Fixes fixes (lol) the crashing on loading a save.
Now there's something i want to ask, since i'm an idiot with numbers would you be willing to give me an example of what kind of line i should enter if i want my player character to be a little shorter? Something like 0.98?
You still need to find the id number as described, once you have it the code will work the same with values less than 1, with the x's being that ID number.set xxxxxxxx to .98 I haven't tested how small you can go , but I know the game will let you go larger than the skybox, I've tested scale 10000 which it actually handled quite well.
Does this also change the scale for NPCs or only the player? I am curious as I am using the NPC Height Variation Toolkit by Ermakysion and wanted to keep the height variation it gives NPCs.
I was using console command runner updated to reset the value on start up, I set several of the other NPCs this way.
I had no piloting fix except making a hotkey to change the outfit when I need to actually see. I have it set at 1.18, which makes the player spartan level tall... but still (barely) fits through doors.
Other NPCs should keep their changed scale after you set it, I've never had them revert back unless I went to a save before changing it.
Personally I am playing at 1.34 right now, tall enough to stand in most interiors but need to duck through many doors (not really though you can clip through the top still). Though this is still one of my shortest playthroughs of a Bethesda game.
I know they keep the settings, but I sometimes tweak them when I'm not in the game for one reason or another. Also, I've had to restart my playthrough a few times (bad mods, or it just got too glitchy). It helps save me the effort of getting everyone back to their correct heights. I'm probably going to end up fixing the heights in my new merged companion mod, I just haven't got around to it yet.
Now I'm going to test if I want to go taller. Don't know if I would want it though.
I was tempted to try just scaling my ship up, but I'm sure that will cause way more issues and loses a bit of the charm of being tall. Maybe if the game was better at handling larger ships, there are plenty of landing spots that don't even handle the full 80m size ships you can build base game...

I can't get it to setscale when loading or sitting int he pilot's chair.
I have SFSE configures, so I can player.setscale and it take effect and I can run around at my new scale.
I think it is installed properly, since I can run 'help yts 3' and see the 4 global variables.
I have set the formid for YTS_PS_NormalScale so that it shows a value of 1.1 when I do the 'help yts 3'.
It is almost like the script that should run isn't running or isn't succeeding?
Thanks again for the mod and anyone can help. :)
Thank you so much!!!

Or maybe convertible open top cockpits could become a new fad? ;)
