I don't think this one works with The Eyes of Beauty mod. In the instructions here it says to delete the my documents.../data folder, but TEOB uses that folder for its textures so it's one or the other. Am I wrong here...?
By that same token, Compact Ship Builder UI and Ship Skip should also have problems because they also use the my docs/data folder.
Consequently, I can't get this one to work and since it breaks the other mods, I have prioritized them over this one.
The game uses two data folders. One is inside the game root folder and the other in documents. Both work for modding the game. In previous games you only had the data folder in the game root so that is the "standard" for modding, which is enforced if you use Vortex for example. And for that same reason the author of this mod recommends deleting data inside documents because it can lead to problems with the game actually loading mods.
A little late, but The Eyes of Beauty mod didnt even work for me in the docs data folder, only in the game directory data folder. So it shouldnt be a problem for anyone else who needs to delete the docs data folder and put TEOB mod in the other data folder! (I don't know how anyone got anything to work in the docs data folder anyway, nothing ever worked in there for me)
For me, it is "working" backwards: The magazine doesn't become bright, but actually turns totally black, so it is more difficult to find. Already deleted Data folder in My Documents, and I'm using Vortex. Tried the Full Green and Only Borders, the same thing happens. Any idea why?
screenshot1 screenshot2 Same problem here. Works fine on my second computer. Now installed the game and the mod on my main computer and the magazines turned black. When I disable the mod in Vortex, they get colorful again.
En Fallout 76 podías ver las revistas incluso desde afuera de un edificio, podrias hacer uno igual? In Fallout 76 you could see the magazines even from outside a building, could you make one like that?
I just want to say, worked flawlessly, I really didn't think deleting the data folder would do that but it really is a must. Very cool thanks for the great mod!
this one and about every mag mod dosnt work in game for me, it dosnt change the covers. i added all the ini right and placed it where it needs to go. i have over 30 mods that are working just not magazines or posters...
I'm having the same problem. None of the mods which add textures (requiring instalation into mygames/Starfield/Data) work for me. Quick question, by any chance you have installed the game in, to say a name, disk C; and have the MyGames folder in disk D?

I tested it by dropping a magazine and looking at it...no changes. Any ideas?
