Update 7/18/24: This is my last edit before releasing the new version. I am polishing and debugging now. Took a while to overcome a few challenges and deciding how I wanted everything to work. Thanks for the patience. New version should be out in a day or two, 3 at the most assuming nothing IRL happens to delay it. Thanks again for the support, it's been a learning experience and I can't wait to release this update and move on to some other ideas I had that I think would really add something to this game! Cheers.
Update 7/13/24: I've resolved basically all the issues. Last thing I'm working on is a custom buildable terminal that you can use to set how you want gravity changed and whether or not to hide spacesuit. I'm nearly done with that, then I will finally be releasing the next update. Thanks!
‐------------------- To anyone that reads this, I am working diligently on the next update to this mod, but I have run into an issue I am having some difficulty in fixing. Until then, I may release an update that at least tackles the clothing/spacesuit problem since that's an easy fix.
To tackle the optional planet gravity/zero gravity on planet surfaces thing, I have to build in a lot of redundancy to prevent players from getting stuck in the pilot seat or other mishaps that result from fast travel with the various gravity settings, so I am attempting to build this as a two switch setup (one master switch/terminal with unlimited secondary switches) but can't seem to get the script to deregister when the master switch is deleted. So until I can figure that out, I won't be releasing that part of the update.
Hopefully will have a fix soon, thanks for the support!
I'm so interested in this, but some of the recent comments indicate there's some issues that make me hesitate. Definitely Tracking though until there's some further info one way or another!
The "master control terminal" is just called "terminal" in the decoration menu, but has the full name when you place it. This confused me, but awesome mod thank you for this
Hi, just installed this on XBOX and its fresh install post DLC install. The master switch seems to work as intended, but when I place and try to activate a relay switch it throws an error that a master switch needs to be installed first.
Update: So, with a bit more testing is seems the master is OK but the relay switches only work in the same or directly adjacent ship compartments but no further i.e. 2 modules away.

When Cora was said "Sometimes I think we should just switch off the Grav Drive and let us float in space." I was thinking that's actually something we can do and even tried to make a ship without Grav Drive on it haha 😅😅
By the by, this isn't necessarily a bug so I'm not gonna oepn a bug report for it since some people gets scared when they see bug count. So, if I use Earthbound power while the ship is in Zero-G, when I sit on the cockpit, camera bugs out and I can't get up. Reloading an early save fixes it however. So just wanted to help people so they don't use that power inside the ship
Hi, I loved the mod on Xbox Series X, bring so much to the immersion
But I have one problem... when I go to decorations settings to place the terminal... it gets visually bug when I look to the prop... it's like on the top of the terminal it has a giant gold floor that permeates the whole spaceship
It changes the angle when I get closer to the monitor and it change position
Hmm, I can't immediately think of a reason this would be happening. Can you give me a list of mods you have installed, your load order, is HDR on, anything else you can think of that may not be part of the default settings for the game?
I’m having the same issue! I have nearly 100 mods so listing them all here would take a long time (AFAIK there is no way to quickly copy my modlist on Xbox), but from mods that someway influence the ship, I have the Community Patch, Place Doors Yourself, Ship Thrusters Empowered, Restricted Area Markers, Ship Combat Revised - Modules and Habs.
Getting the same visual glitch, it only appears when the terminal is in line of sight and appears to be attached to the monitor as it tilts when the monitor screen tilts. Running very few other mods on xbox x. Love the mod and its working well in every other way.

I really hope its easy for you to do smth with spacewalking <3 if its too hard or you have too little time no problem ofc :)
So after updating to the new version, I can't seem to delete the Gravity Switch Relay in the build mode while on ship. The switches were built from the previous release and the master switch has been built in the newest version. Any idea what up with that?
BTW I love this mod. Simple but a great feature that should be baked into the game. Great work
Definitely strange. I tested this a lot to make sure the switches would disappear when saved with the old version, the mod is changed and then loaded with the new version. I never had them not disappear. Does your ship have any special decorations you don't want to lose? If not, I would recommend going into ship builder and move a hab or something, save the ship, then move it back. That should clear any custom/constructed items from the hab interiors.
Edit: just to be safe, make a major change like changing a hab to a different type, then saving the ship, then changing it back to the old type. Just moving the habs around may not be enough to trigger a reset of placed items.

great work. Just one little thing. It's great that the crew keep their normal clothes on. But what about the player, he still puts on his spacesuit when there is weightlessness. Did you forget that or is that intentional?
Edit: My mistake: I had activated the mod 'Auto Equip Unequip Spacesuit' that was responsible for the behavior.
Already loved the previous version but you have really hit the jackpot with this update. The ability to sync gravity to the outside really adds alot to my immersive/survival/space explorer playthroughs You will be my first endorsement <3

There is a mod called „Spacewalk with a purpose“. Wonderfull job but the modauthor is not fixing gamebreaking bugs or listening to the community like you. Since you need to turn of gravity to spacewalk maybe you could implement Spacewalk in a future version. Im not asking for a mod like his where you have to repair or can do stuff in space just the ability to press a button and get teleported out of your ship with 0 Gravity. Already super happy and thankfull for what you have done for Starfield and my experience but just a little request since i find it unimmersive to use console commands or bat files to spacewalk. Just asking since your mod is already doing a part of whats needed. <3
So happy to hear you are enjoying the mod. I put a lot of work into this new update to try to make it all work seamlessly and to push myself to learn some new things (mostly everything. lol) Anyway, I can certainly take a look at spacewalks. No ETA on when something like that would be available, but it sounds like something that would be in my wheelhouse after making this one. Thanks!
