WARNING:
This mod is experimental and stability has not been proven.
Use at your own risk.
Create a save before enabling, and know that anything can happen and you may have to go back to your old save.

Keep better track of your gear, and see gear quality tiers at a glance.

Ever wonder why you have two identical weapons with identical mods, and one does more damage? That's because Starfield has an equipment tier system; however, currently the names for each tier are vague, and can easily be lost among other prefixes from mods.

This mod changes all item tiers from vague words into easily understood numbers so you can organize better, and reorders that tier name to the beginning of the item name so you can decide whether a weapon/gear piece is worth taking at a glance
.

Tier Name Changes (Depending on which file you install):
Base Quality = Unchanged (No keyword on weapons for this to be changed)
Calibrated = [Tier 2] or [T2]
Refined = [Tier 3] or [T3]
Advanced = [Tier 4] or [T4]
Superior = [Tier 5] or [T5]

As of 0.2, each option also comes with optional "Tiers Only" files that remove all other weapon prefixes

Compatibility:
This mod does not change any string files, or any Interface files, so there should be no incompatibilities with any current mods.
Safe (and recommended) to use with StarUI and Inventory Prefixes

Installation Instructions:

ONLY INSTALL ONE OF THE AVAILABLE FILES
Drop "EquipmentTierPrefix.esp" into Starfield's Data Directory
Add the line sTestFile1=EquipmentTierPrefix.esp into your StarfieldCustom.ini under [General]

If installing the a different version, type sTestFile1=EquipmentTierPrefix_Short.esp (or whatever the esp name is) instead.

Note: If you have multiple .esp mods, you can change the number after
sTestFile to anything 1-10 (sTestFile3=EquipmentTierPrefix.esp for instance).

You will need an achievement enabler (as you'll see because the game tells you).
I use this one and have verified that achievements work: Baka Achievement Enabler

Changelog:

0.2:
-Fixed issues where certain players were seeing all weapons as [Tier 2]/[T2]
-Added optional "Tiers Only" files
