      What exactly do you mean with standalone? My mod has no requirements or do you mean without the replacer for the two medics?

      Didn't they use 2-1B - Medical Droid in the movies?

      Yeah, but those droids are usually located in their bases and most likely for senior officers only. I've never seen any field medics, especially medic trooper that would treat regular stormtroopers. And that would be against the Tarkin Doctrine's perspective of sheer volume of expendable troopers.
