This mod works. Only issue is that every time you pick up the artifact your power increases so building and removing them from the armillary will raise your powers each time.
Well, the mod works. But, when I finished the main story and my character got all the artifacts (In the buried temple), there were two powers left unacquired (I think they are the ones from the artifacts that were in Costellation). Has this happened to anyone else?
Can this work on a fresh new save that hasn't gone through Unity? Its a pain trying to do all that unnecessary movement i did in a previous save i lost.
Great mod finally don't have to bother with the temples anymore, but i have discovered an unintended side effect.
I had added all the artifacts to the armillary on ship, then decided not to go through unity yet so i removed them all placing them back in my inventory, when i did that all my powers ranked up again so now i have them all at rank 2 on a first playthrough.
Not a major issue i can just use console commands to lower them all back down to first rank and just keep them in my inventory and make a save before rebuilding the armiliary just incase i change my mindn again, but i am guessing this is something that was not meant to happen.
i collected part of the artifacts before part afterwards, came looking for a mod because a temple mission had bugged so couldn't get the power. At that point i had collected the mission artifacts but not the artifacts from the final confrontation at the temple. I had the mission ones in the armillary before the mod but did not have the final confrontation ones at all.
Did the final mission collected the artifacts and got the rest of the powers to rank 1 as expected and put them in the armiliary. Then as mentioned previous i took them all out because i changed my mind and got everything rank 2.
Does this only work by collecting them during the quests? I ask becuase I installed this after skipping to NG+ 1. I have no powers and didn't complete the main quest.
So now I'm NG+ I have already done the quests upto and including Maora's. But if i try to add the artifacts from these via console nothing happens, I have also tried dropping them and picking them back up.
I just downloaded the version here and tested on my pre-powers save, It worked. There may actually be a configuration/installation or conflict issue on your end.
I don't think there should be a conflict with anything, but maybe a mod that alters the artifacts could affects this. But I think that's unlikely.
Thanks for your response, I tried placeatme 00216F9B on a new character with only this mod enabled and still no powers show after picking the artifact up.
I am sure you are correct in that there is something wrong on my end, but for the life of me I don't know what it is. I guess only a clean instal will work :)
It was definitely my fault, I didn't include the packed assets. I've added them in the new file, can you try it again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused you
No worries :) I downloaded the new version just in time for picking up the Omicron Artifact and it worked. Honestly this is the best version of a "No Temples" mod on Nexus. IMO it's how the game should have been done in the first place.
From what the article that you linked says, it should be an ESM as ESP files can cause bugs when loaded in Starfield. I think that was why taosecurity was asking.
But looking forward to using this mod in the future once its an ESM. I only grinded all temples once and that was enough for me. I really don't know who thought the temples were a good idea, both thematically (given that they're usually right next to human POI's) or fun. Can't imagine doing it x10 and then again if your ever start a new character.
Just letting y'all know, you can easily download and open this ESP in Creation Kit and repack it yourself. I only mention this as some mod authors don't get around to it (life can be very busy) and it really is as easy as opening the file, converting it, and loading it as you would any other mod. I know nothing about modding the game or using CK to it's full power, however, anyone should be able to convert file structures pretty easily, and CK really does make it easy.

I've been through the Unity 3 times, have rank 10 on all powers and it's still throwing temple quests at me.

What am I missing here?
I am just trying to complete Sam Coe's quest now and see if that works. If not, then It could potentially be something on my end.

I am using player.additem 00216F8F this command to add the artifact Nu, also did it with Alpha and Beta. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for your effort in making this :)
edit: I tried with no mods, both the new and old versions and player.placeatme. Nothing worked
At the very bottom of the article: ESP files vs ESM files.
