Please don't provide .esp files, it's not the standard anymore from Starfield onward

      The main file is .ESM
I'm assuming the author provided the .ESP file in case someone wants to pick up and make their own improvements to the mod. That's why it's sitting in a separate category.

Yup, that's why. I made it optional for that reason. I'd love to eventually figure out how to scan all flora and fauna from orbit too, but if I can't do it myself I may as well contribute my scripts for discovering all traits.

      Hi Plazmid!

I was looking through the esp/esm for this today, and noted that the bundled scripts with the esp were still the pex instead of the PSC's -- makes it more challenging to go through (decompiled pex is UGLY)

Would you consider reposting with the psc?

Hey there! I’ve installed this mod from the first day it came out on Creations and I absolutely LOVE it. This is how the vanilla skill should have worked from the beginning. Thank you for making it so that all traits get unlocked automatically. It’s such a time saver and it’s really cool to see all of the traits right away when I go into a planet’s orbit.

One thing that I want to point out for people who installed this mod via Creations and have this mod enabled pre-entering NG+, make sure you re-install the mod after emerging from the Unity, otherwise it will initially start off not working (all traits won’t unlock). Thankfully, I noticed this right away after entering NG+ again a few weeks ago. I suspect this might not be the fault of the mod, but something with Creations, themselves, because I *also* have to reinstall the mod any time I update any other mod or change my load order. The mod looks installed and fine in the load order, but it doesn’t “work” unless I reinstall it.

Again, to be clear, this is likely NOT an issue with the mod, but rather, an issue with Creations because there are several issues related to mods behaving weirdly when updating or installing other mods. Creations has issues updating properly updating mods or having the version number reset when loading a save, etc. So, it’s probably a Bethesda bug.

Another Bethesda bug that I noticed is that the mod didn’t seem to automatically unlock any traits (even the vanilla trait would typically unlock at least one trait) when orbiting/landing/scanning “Luyten's Rock” in Luyten's Star System and “Miatha” in the Moon of Polvo. This is also probably a bug related to the vanilla game or maybe even another mod, somehow, as I don’t see how the mod could work flawlessly for 1,000+ planets, except for two, so again, it’s probably Bethesda’s fault. I was able to land at both planets and find all of the traits on my own in just a few minutes, so don’t worry if any of you experience this too.

I just wanted to write this up in case anyone else from Creations have used this mod, as I don’t think these issues exist for the Nexus folks.

I read this and switched to the Nexus version and it appears to do the same thing for NG+. I scanned Jamison and 0 traits displayed.
Unless or skills are disabled until we at least visit the lodge?

If you have the mod enabled when entering the Unity, you MUST uninstall/reinstall the mod before it will take effect. So, in other words, the mod is enabled, you enter Unity, you must save/close the game, then re-install the mod, then relaunch the game. It works after that, with exception to the new Shattered Space planets (which I hope will be patched in, eventually).

Well yes I understand that, but you mentioned it only affected Creations and isn't an issue with the mod. Then went on to say you weren't sure if it affected Nexus folk. Well as I stated, it does affect Nexus folk. In all likelyhood it's the same ESM.

So to be clear for Creations AND Nexus you need to uninstall and re install the mod for Creations and Nexus for NG+

Oh, I see. Sorry, I wrote my comment a long time ago and hadn’t re-read my original comment. I thought you weren’t sure how to get the mod working again.

Thanks for confirming that it happens, either way! This is the only mod that I have that seems to need to be manually re-installed whenever I go through Unity or install a new mod. There must be a bug somewhere. Hopefully, the creator of it can sort it out and add the new Shattered Space planets to work with it.

Thanks for loading this up in Nexus. Now I can just remove it from the Creation list.
