This is a series where I'm using mods (see list below) to build my outpost on Montara Luna in the Cheyenne system.


In addition to this I use SKK Global Utility Script to find the ID of certain static objects as I travel around the settled systems so I can use them in my base. Finally, I use console commands to position objects around the base as the in-game system leaves much to be desired.

First major update! Loading area and coms-array are finally complete, next up is the re-fueling station on the other side of the landing pad.

      Thanks! I've used these three:

      I mostly place objects with console commands, as the outpost builder doesn't allow for things like the concrete foundations to be oriented and merged like I have them. I get by with only using these commands:

      • getpos x,y,z / setpos x,y,z
      • getangle x,y,z / setangle x,y,z
      • modpos x,y,z / modangle x,y,z

      And adding something like this to your StarfieldCustom.ini file to mark selected objects (so you don't have to guess)

      Cant wait for proper mod support so we dont need to use commands anymore!
