Hey everyone, you haven't heard much from me. But I decided to fill you in on what's happening.

Really? Weird choice, but okay.
The good news is, the mod is not dead. Simply put: I don't like rushing my work. I try not to force it and I prefer to take creative/productive breaks and pivot between projects. So this is standard Thumblesteening at work here, it's all good.
Now, the good news is. I'm working on another project.
Let me ask you all something. Do you like spookies? Big spooky scary spooks? The kind of creepy crawls that haunt in the corners and crevices of your VERY OWN SKIN?
Then I have happy news for you. I'm getting back to my roots. Namely, horror mods. I have a cult following because of my older Obscurum mod for Fallout 3. Basically "What if apocalypse but ghosts?" Big premise and people liked it since it was kind of a fresh idea not just for a Fallout mod but even as a video game concept. At least at the time.
So now I'm using all the newfangled NVSE stuff to make one for New Vegas. Intended to be a fun blend of modern game mechanics and scripts as well as old game nostalgia. So if you want some vintage gaming, keep an eye out.
